Everyone's eyes gleam and
Reflect the colours of the
Inside world.
White are the streets,
No flowers to cloud your cloudy breath
That casts a spell on life.
Here in England, the world stops
Because we can't go on - were unprepared.
The snow falls from heaven and says,
"Look just one moment into your windows,
And hold hands, take a walk outside
And kiss under the icicles."
Stop and remember the love you once had,
When you were children and you still knew
Of winters long past,
When the songs were written.
And all the people sit there
Like freezing summer hazes,
But autumn is gone.
I am the snowman,
Wretched and grinning,
Singing the tune of the twinkling stars.
