Sort of new here but defiantly not new to writing, as I have been writing for about 5-6 years now. I'm use to writing in first person but I'm starting to experiment with third person now and I'm going to attempt to write a chapter story in third person called Adrenaline but I'm just not sure what it's going to be about considering I've got two other stories that I need to finish up.

I'm open for constructive criticism but not out right flames that have no meaning. I'm also a pretty good reviewer for other people's writing and I'll review yours if you want to; though I must warn you, I say whatever is on my mind but I say it with reason.

Hello, Darkehthewriter! Methinks I shall think you up a nickname soon enough.

Welcome to the Young Writers Society! Being as you're a writer, and it seems like you've been writing for awhile, I am sure you will come to love (if you haven't already) this website. On this site, you can make a blog (sounds fun, yes? I'm a terrible blogger), join clubs, hang around the chat room, and review. There's really limitless options on what to do.

You do sound like an interesting person, though! I love good reviewers; the more you review, the more points you'll recieve, by the way! Good reviews are like gold. Anyways, as for your writing, have you ever finished a novel? What's your favorite food? Favorite colour? Rain or sun? Winter or spring? Favorite author?

Sorry for the twenty questions, but it's customary here. Well, hope you enjoy the site. If you have any questions or just want a friend to chat with, don't hesitate to message me. And if you ever need a review, message me as well.

Have a g'day,
Mizzle

Hey there Dark,

Welcome to YWS! And don't worry about speaking your mind; we expect it from reviewers. As long as you keep in mind that it must be constructive, as we will be with you.

Feel free to PM (private message, under my avatar picture) if you have any questions!

'Ello! Welcome to YWS Dark! It's always nice to see new members joining.

So, what genre do you generally dwell in? What do you enjoy reading?

Yah for someone who likes to review!Like Mizzle said, the more you review the more points you get. But don't let that be the only reason to review. But with those points, you can send gifts to others. Which is just as exciting, considering it's the holiday season >.<

Hope to see you around in the forums!

Hello Dark!

Third person writing? I'm trying that now. First person writing just has so many limits, it's quite annoying actually. Unless you switch over POV's which I also hate doing. Third person just seems all around better.

What type of writing do you like? I like to write romance but I find every idea I come up with to be done already and I am getting bored with my own work. I'm going through a very bad time in my writing right now. But, anyway, do you like fantasy? Action? Horror?

I also hate flames but love some good advice. I believe you will fit in okay here.

I'm going to have to attack your page when this is over with, I see that now. J'espère voir certains de vos travaux, et si je ne le vois je vais m'assurer de le commenter. That is to say, I hope to see your work and I will review it. With that said, get posting soon, okay?

Au revoir!

Oh dear, I truly need to start learning to check forum replies more often. I shall answer the questions now I guess.

Novels-I have not yet written a novel yet considering how busy I become with life. I hope that I can write a novel and possible publish it if I can.

Favourite Food-That's a hard one. I would probably have to say the chef salad that my school serves every once in a while.

Favourite colour-Any shade of blue

Rain or Sun-Preferable rain, as it gives me time to clear my mind of any other thoughts and think of my stories.

Winter or Spring-Winter considering it's around my birthday and the snow is always beautiful to take photographs of.

Favourite Author-I would probably have to say David Clement-Davies or James Patterson's novels that are aimed for the adult group.

Genre I work best with-I currently work best with fantasy and sci-fi; both of the genres don't have limits on creation. I've tried to work with romance but... I am not the greatest. I'm also good with horror if I really try for it but I prefer not to do that genre.

Genres preferable read- I preferable read fantasy, action, and adventure along with books that actually make me feel like I'm in the story itself.

Yeah, if there is any other questions then I will kindly answer them.

Hey Darkehthewriter,

Firstly, welcome to YWS - it's a pretty warm community here, so you should settle in really well. So, a writer for 5-6 years, eh? haha. That's longer than me! But I honestly can't wait to see what poems or stories you'll be writing, and don't worry, folks here are pretty good at constructive criticism! Hope you learn a lot from people here and hope we learn something from you! :)

If you have any questions - just ask! Best wishes for future writing!
