My Sunrise Gallery

Hello everyone and welcome to my Gallery of sunrises! There are only 3 and they're all taken in the same vantage point but at different days. I hope all you guys like it! I only had a hundred points left so I decided to post 3 photos to compensate for the points. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I took all of this at the top floor of our house. XD

These are both really pretty (can't see the third though) but there's too much sky. My main advice would just be to crop out a lot of the sky, because really it's pretty dull around the top anyway; the bright colors are way cooler to look at than the plainer dark reds and grays around the top. Cropping the picture will also help balance the focus of the sillouhette and the sky.

Just a few things, but these are both good!

I really liked this, I love the colors and everything! I would take StoryWeaver's advice and crop out some of the sky though. And oh my god, this was taken by your house?? That is really awesome! Good work! My favorite picture is the very first one, I loved the way you captured the shadow and coloring on the clouds!

Well, you're clearly very good at picking interesting things out. May I ask what camera you're using at the moment, and what software?
Anyway, back to the review.
The first photo is amazing. Brilliant colours, nice silhouettes. However, I feel it is almost a little too over processed (if that is, it has been edited in some way. If not, I apologise ). Just slightly though, so if you gently tweak everything back a tiny but, it'll be perfect.
The second photo is my favourite. Very dreamy and beautiful. Maybe a tiny boost in saturation? Just play around I guess, but it's perfectly fine as it is.
The third photo I managed to see on your deviantart. It was probably my least favourite, but still a very good photo. There are some lovely deep blue tones in it which I love.
Now, something which I've noticed in all three shots is the lack of the rule of thirds being used. Instead there's an awful lot of sky, and very little land (silhouettes in this case), and it leaves the photo feeling quite unbalanced. Basically, by all means have the main focal point as the sky, but having the bottom third of the photo as land, sea or whatever, really helps guide the eye to the main focal point. You can easily just keep it silhouetted by making the land black, as you've done here, to make sure all focus is on the sunrises, but I feel it would be good if you had a little bit more land. Of course, this is a little late advice on these photos, so I'll have to agree with the 3 people before who said about cropping. Just remember to keep the aspect ratio as you probably know already, and to keep the quality.

Overall: Brilliant photos, you really do have an excellent photography eye! Just try to follow the rule of thirds next time and they'll be even better! Amazing work though, so well done!

First off, neat pictures! Those are some stunning sunrises. The third photo won't load for me [due to my silly Chrome] so therefore I'll review the first two. And don't expect this review to be overly helpful. I have a tendency to shower pictures with praises xD

First one:

You really captured the colours nicely in this photo. I love how fluffy the clouds are, mixed with an assortment of shades. And the silhouette of the trees gives it a neat impression. I suppose, even though it is the sky you are photographing, is there is a lot of sky. But the yellow hues in the corner there are brilliantly bright!

Second one:

I love this one more than the first! The blue that is seen through the thinning clouds! The trees even look more defined. Probably 'cause the sky is brighter xD There isn't much else I can say. You captured a beautiful morning. Bright and crisp if it weren't in a tropical area.

You have a good eye for excellent photos, that's for sure. Keep it up and I can't wait to see some more of your photos!

Wonderfull job! I think the second one is better beacuse there is a bit more various colours then the first one which had purple and red. The first one had kinda dark colours which made the trees harder to see, but this was damn awesome. Im sorry but thats all I can help you with. You nailed the second picture. Keep the good work up!

These are beautiful. I just wanted to say you should crops some of the sky off the second one, but the trees' are really great; one looks like it's smoking!

I love the pictures. We can only see the first two though I prefer the second one to the first, I think just because the colors look more natural in the second one. I like how the palms are shadowed out, that's a really cool effect.

I love photographing sunrises, I once stayed up all night on a train so I could photograph the sunrise:) I think if you switched up your vantage points you could have a really cool collection!

I would love to see more for sure!

These are two GREAT photographs. I love how, although both seem to be from the same view, they are completely different in every way. The first photo is very deep and romantic. It's absolutely GORGEOUS! It reminds me of something you would find on the front of a wall calandar, you know what I mean? Haha! As for the second picture, I like the colors on this one because they are bright, warm, and happy! You captured them very well and at a nice angle. I would love to see some pictures where you perhaps try photographing the sky at a different location, angle, and time of day, because these were magnificent and I am sure I would enjoy more of your work!

I love nature photos, and you capture nature very well! Maybe you could try taking pictures of plants or animals? I can't wait to see what else you do!

I adore these. I LOVE the first one. I've always liked the sky, and its texture. And the first one is amazing.

The first picture makes it look like day is taking over the night in some lifelong battle between good and evil. It also looks like heavy smoke. It looks amazing. I like it. It looks like something that would be taken in the winter time because in the winter, we long to see daylight again. The second picture has a softness to it. It is like a summertime sunrise. We want to see the sun, but at the same time, it's already sunny enough outside. I don't know if that makes sense, but what I'm trying to say is that your pictures are amazing. To capture a moment like this is a talent.

these are amazing shots of nature i love how you captured how the sun paints the sky red adn yellow. and the palm tree's blacked out into a shadow realy compliment the mood. i think i could just print a large portion of this and use it as wallpaper in my room lol. very nicely done (couldnt see the 3rd one )
