Some Paintings I have done this Christmas Season (and some from Summer)

I would like to point out that some of these are heavily influenced by photos or paintings already out there. I did not do these to sell them, but for gifts. So, though some of these are marked as being solely my creation, an idea a friend wanted painted or something similair, most have aspects pulled from other pieces. As I still experimenting, i need references to pull from.

This is for my youngest niece. reminded me of her.


This was a Christmas Gift (still all wrapped under the tree) for my brother in law's girlfriend. Biblical verse


This was for my sister. I eventually switched the saying around so it would read Live for today, Dream for tomorrow. Easy to switch since it was those sayings you can stick on walls.

This was done early this year for a friend of mine. one of the first ones I ever gave to someone. Most just stayed on my walls.


I had my aunt in mind when I painted this. Am really not too impressed with it, I rushed through it too much after getting frustrated with parts. It is now up for sale.


Another Christmas present my cousin requested. Her choice in sayings. Not sure where it is from.


This was for my sister in law. She had me make it for her mother on mothers day.



My best friend requested I do this for her with the saying that is tattooed on her. Our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears.


This was a project from the fall. Acrylic on old barn window. Hoping to get glass paint for christmas so can try it with paint made for that on the remaining billions of windows stuck in our old barn.


This was done in pastels. It was a photo that i saw and really really liked it. so i tried it as an exercise for me. I like it but man do I hate pastels!

These are amazing!!! I like all of them, I love the creativity and beauty you put into your paintings! I especially like the 1st, 3rd, and 5th ones!

I'm not a big fan of the last one, both the theme and the way you painted it aren't what I like. Her arms looked kind of funny, but I know it's hard to paint something comming strait at you. I liked the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and ninth the most. The first feel half done to me. That might be the way you painted it, but I prefer clear people when I see paintings. The two with the saying son them were kind of boring to me. The colors didn't pop much and I was to lazy to read the sayings. The 3rd painting was beautiful. You painted very precise lines on her face, and I loved how the paint looked splattered. I liked the colors in the fourth, but it wouldn've been nice to have a clearer ground. The sky was beautiful, though. Good mixing on the fourth. maybe the bottom of the trunk of the tree could've been a little wider. The horses look great, like they're coming out of a mist. Just keep practicing on your art, and one day little details will look real. (they already kinda do!)

I LOVED these, especially the horse one and the barn window. I didn;t care for the last one, though.

Okay, so I'm just going to do an overall review-

first of all, I love painting. I've painted for a while. And I'm terrible at it.

These are fantastic- I love your use of color, the smooth lines, the great style with which you paint- it's all wonderfully done.

The sunset feels a little too blocky for me, and the last one could use some work, but otherwise, these are all excellent. Excellent colors and simple shapes.

I love these, I was going to put which ones I like most down but I love them all.
You are really talented and I only wish I could paint like this because it really is amazing.
They show such emotion and really made me smile. Seriously keep it up!

Hmm, these photos are most absolutely extraordinary and made me look more than once, you got some mad skill and I can't say anything bad about your paintings! You're basically at the border line of Perfect. My favorite one was number 3, I would pay money for that one and I never spend money on much of anything! But this, oh this, this is absolutely amazing it makes me feel content with life, and it remembers me of my poem, "Foot prints in the snow", and "kingdomhearts".

Please, please... Keep this work up.
