So, I usually don't like to spam YWS with my pleading and begging but for once, I am going to. Already did it in my blog.
Anyways...
The situation is this. Faith School is located in Faith, South Dakota, not too far from my own school actually. They are also a part of my Student Council Region and our Student Council Region adviser is their Computer Teacher. They have students and books and teachers. But what they lack are hallways. Their school is actually made up of trailers (not even really the issue.) The problem is that they lack any sort of hallway or path between these trailers.

Most of you have probably never experienced a South Dakota winter but they are brutal. Snow in as early as October, wind, ice, freezing rain. It's not pretty out here this time of year.

So imagine being one of these students, traveling every day from class to class, having to bundle up in a coat, boots, and a hat, just to get from English class to Math class.

I received an email the other day that went out to all of the Student Council Region Board members asking for our schools to help. How? By voting once every day at:

Please, YWS. Not only is there the inconvenience of having to bundle up but the danger to their health with freezing temperatures, ice, and tornado threats (we get plenty of those here too).

NOTE: There is a video part way down the page that explains it better than I could.

Vote Vote VOOOTE!
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

Voted, and will do so often. I don't know much about South Dakota winters, but Minnesota winters are probably about the same.
