My name is Emily-Louise,

Like most of you I have a passion for writing. I found out I had a talent for writing in the fourth grade. I wrote a story that was 56 pages long and I have given up on finishing it. I just didnt like it anymore. I feel bad for that story; that it should be incompleate for the rest of its life. I hope to find help here for more ideas on how to finish it. I am in the prossess of writing three other stories at the same time. They each have a girl main character, she is smart, but she needs help from her friends. She can some times gets herself in trouble by saying stupid things because emotions are clouding her thought prosses. she usually has three or four friends. Her family consists of her, and her mom. father is usually dead or missing. (though this doesnt relate to me at all i like this situation). Anyway, thank you all for your support and creativity in contribution to this forum. <3 Hope to make new and exciting friends as well.

I've said it already, but welcome to YWS! Glad to have you here!

Now I'll try and explain some more about reviewing and submitting. I mentioned on your wall that you could divide a novel into chapters and post it as such. This makes it easier to get reviews, because you can ask in WRFF (Will Review For Food) threads for reviews. But don't post a new chapter everyday, as some people do (very few people tend to review it if you do) and remember that for people to want to review your work, you must review their work.This basically means you comment on their work, giving them constructive criticism instead of a flat-out negative review or overwhelming praise. In the long run, this benefits you. If your review is up to 250 characters long, you will gain points from it, which you can use to post your work (takes a 100 points to post a new literary work).

If you need help, PM the Site Moderators—whose names are in green—or other users who have been around at least a month. You can PM me too.

I'm pretending I'm new on here at the moment, although I've been on here on and off since...I think 2008. Honestly I don't know. Whatever it says under my picture <--- that way.

Heh! I enjoy it when the MC's father is missing. It's clichéd in my opinion, but is terribly fun to write. Oddly enough, I've only started one short story like that. But the whole adventure to find out who their father is is fun to witness.

You enjoy writing plain fiction? Mixed with romance? Sounds interesting.I love it when romance is only a sub-plot. If you ever post one of your stories, send me a PM or write in my guestbook and I'd gladly read it for you.
