Wow. These pictures are great. I'm not a photographer. I just like looking at peoples pictures that they take. But these are really good. I especially like the one with the see through leaf. That was my favorite one. Anyways great job on the pictures.

You really know how to use the right saturation of colours to make a picture lovely in a striking or subtle way

1. Prettiness. The bright exposure to the left of the flower is too.. bright and distracting.
2. I really like this. Very modern architecture-y.
3. Though I love the levels and saturation, it strikes me as a dull photo. In the sense that it doesn't strike as a beautiful subject.

1) I feel this photo is too harsh and bright, due to the lighting and the colours. It's difficult to look at.
2) I love this one! I really like that beautiful blue sky, and the tones. However, I'm not actually sure what it is
3) I also like this one however, a little off on the rule of thirds for my liking, and it's maybe a little over saturated.
4) Lovely macro shot! Good job! However, maybe just up the saturation a tiny bit, and contrast?
5) Nice photo, but far too over exposed. You can fix this in any photo editor, eg Lightroom
6) Nothing special about this one, the angle is a little predictable too
7) I feel the steps and the person ruined this one; it's a beautiful landscape, one which isn't particularly common. Focus on it!
Not sure I like the look of the mushrooms, but I like the subtle bokeh
9) A little hard to see what it is, but really lovely tones and focusing
10) A little over exposed, but you can easily fix that. A bit clichéd, but there's nothing you can really do about that, because it's just so popular
11) I couldn't see this one
12) Lovely bokeh, however, I'd prefer if the leaf was a little off centre.

I am really nit picking here, just so you have something to improve on. These are good photos, and with a little work, you could easily do much much better! I hope I haven't came across as too harsh. Maybe you could think about getting a flickr? It's a really good way to create a online portfolio of your work, and it's easy to share with everyone

Oh, one more thing. Please turn off the date thingy on your camera! It's quite distracting and makes any good photo seem touristy

Hi there

1. This one is a little over-processed. I would consider finding the original and maybe not playing with saturation so much. Also, the focus is a little off. Right now, the only focal point definition is created through that marvelous splash of purple. Make sure to use macro and to keep your hands steady- bringing in your elbows together or steadying them on something (like the ground) are two things that can really help with this. I really like the contrast of the green and purple though.

2. This is superb! I think that you could crop out the little black thing (and maybe the date, though you could keep that), and this would be just about perfect. No other editing needed. The contrast, simplicity, and lines are all excellent. Really wonderful shot.

3. The focus on this feels a little off again, as does the processing. Watch out for over-saturating your pictures. Nice feeling of motion though.

4. Again, I feel like the focus is a little off. I also think that maybe a little bit of toying with the contrast could make this picture really pop. Great perspective though, and I love the creativity.

5. This is lovely. I love the perspective, the elegant way is slopes up to the right corner- even the mountains in the background make a perfect frame. The little bit of graininess and over-exposure work very well in this shot. My only problem with it, again is the focus. :/

6. I like the colors here, but, no offense, I don't see the point of this picture. There is no focal point, no real point of interest than the tree. If you want the tree, I would suggest getting a bit closer and making that obvious.

7. This is great- wonderful colors, great scene, nice vintage tones... I love the positioning as well. I feel like the person could have been a little bit more posed in a way though. I dunno how to describe exactly what I mean.

8. Nice shot, and interesting subject, but the focus is off and there's no focal point. Otherwise, nice job. Nice bokeh though.

9. Gorgeous macro shot! I wish that the focus was a little bit more spot-on, but I adore the contrast and soft tones. Wonderful shot.

10. Nice- like the tones, though I think you could have captured more detail.

11.Nice DOF, though the focus could have been a little bit more spot-on, and the right seems a bit too washed out to me. Love the bokeh in the left though.

12. GORGEOUS colors and bokeh. The focus could have been neater on the leaf in order to really pull the eye towards it, but perfect shot otherwise.


Overall: I'd be careful of over-processing and losing focus. I like the tones you've captured, and you have a wonderful eye, just make sure that the execution meets your concepts, which are fabulous. There are sites where you can post your photography even more, like flickr. If you ever make an account, let me know. And most importantly, keep on clicking away.

I am definatly not anyone who knows anything about photography, except for when things are good or not. I am a fan of photos, not a taker of photos =]
Anyway... Well, darn it! You didn't give me hardly anything bad to say! That's my favorite part! Argh! What is this world coming too?
I loved all of the pictures except for the first one, I just thought it was a little too bright.
But as for the carrot root one, the Paris one, the tree bark one, and definatly the leaf one, they are all photos I would just love to like print out and hang on my walls, seriously, keep it up!
