Weakness

My hand is weak,
My eyes are numb,
To write no more
Or to toil on?
My brain is empty,
My heart is slow,
Write pen. Write.

Swimming

Can she dream beyond the dusty,
pale surface of the moon?
Or is she destined to scrape along
the cracked road of her mind,
Swimming in imagination.

Freedom

Freedom.
Taste the word on your tongue,
Let it dissolve in the air,
And carry in the wind.
Let it settle in your heart,
And linger in your soul.
Let your mind ponder,
And your ears listen.
Let your lips scream it,
Freedom.

Simple and sweet. I like these very much. Since your title for these is "blurbs", are you planning on expanding from here? They all look like they can be great beginnings/outlines for some very nice pieces.

Just wondering, would this be something scribbled on the side of some school notes? They look like things I write in my binders during particularly boring math classes. :)
The wittiest thing is the simple truth.

Thank you, and I plan on expanding on them. Sometimes though, I like to leave them be. Lately, I've been writing really short poems for some reason.
And of course, math sucks :D haha

BE YOURSELF. Because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

This is a really good poem. You really make me wish their was more to it. Its sort of entrancing, i love it (:

i think once every new ywser realizes they can manifest themselves into the quote gen by making a post about the quote gen, they make a very inconspicuous post about the quote gen, but deep in their hearts, they know they’ll see that post at the bottom of the page one day. (yeah, i see you mods. you brought this upon us)
