This is the shark 'Don Lino' from the movie 'Shark Tale'. It is played by Robert De Nero- great actor! The Shark is very funny, that is why I drew him (something anime). In the movie the shark has Robert De Nero's mole so I also included it in my drawing. :D (This is a contest entry for Flower~Child's contest)
I am sorry if anyone is unhappy with the sizes... It was the best I could do because the drawing was portrait.

Here you are Flow,
I hope you like it...

I have posted two copies:
-The first, is to see it as a whole (viewers and reviewers)
-The second, is for details (Flower~Child)

Ooh, very nice! This brings me flashbacks of the movie, though I have only watched it in its entirety about twice. It looks good, and did you use colored pencils, or graphite or charcoal w/ pencil? Also, was this drawn free-hand? Sorry for all of the questions, but I really love to draw (but I hate coloring). I would like to see more if you have some!

Thanks for your review Shiny!! And yes, of course I drew this free hand- otherwise that would be cheating. I did not use colour. I used a variety of regular pencils in different tones to give my drawing shades. I'm very glad you like it :D!
I could maybe post some more...

Wow, that's really good! Did they have those two little fins in the movie? the ones where legs are on people, kind of. You did a good job on the face, good shading. Try cleaning the edges up a little. Also, the sharks eyes seem to be pointing in different directions.

Hi watchmeburn, CaptianRandom here.
FINALY YOU UPLAODED SOMETHING. This an alright drawing, its good but there are a couple of things wired about it.

First of all this is not anime. Anime is an artistic style used in Japanese animation that has also been adopted by some artists in America and other countries; An animated work, usually from Japan. This is more of a cartoon drawing, I’m actually not sure what type of drawing it is but it’s not anime, like my you broke my heart drawing, which was not anime, but you stated it is. I’m sorry but this is FAR from anime, manga is completely different.

Secondly, the shading is good, I’m not good at shading but it can be overpowering in some areas of the drawing.

Thirdly, the eyes are a little to small, its not showing much expression, the mouth is doing all that and it doesn’t look good.

Fourthly, the dorsal fin is to rounded I don’t think a sharks dorsal fin would be like that.

Sorry for being so harsh, but I take art seriously.

When you told me you were a good drawer, I didn't suspect this good! Watch, these are perfect! OMG! Hehehe, I said OMG. But anway, shading, line work, realisticness (Don't think that's a word - in a cartoon kind of way - PERFECT! You've got a lot of talent, I want to see moar of your work!

I disagree with Random as when have you actually seen an anime shark? Hmm, I don't think I have. This as far as I can tell is manga. I swear I've seen him before though and it's just now that I see he's from nemo and that's cool for me because I love that show!

I'm sure you'll strike somewhere because it's awesome!

Keep up the good work,
Apple.
I spy!

This is really good! I especially like the shading. It's a pencil drawing, but the shading brings it out and gets the same effect as if it was in color. Great job! :)

Love it! Great shading technique, you've made it all very smooth. Not much else to say about it... good job though. :)
