Spoiler
so this is the second chapter of the last angel which is part of a novel, please reveiw :)

Chapter two

That night Ambriel had a dream. A horrible dream. She
was running, her heart was pounding and her chest was
heaving. She was on the verge of spreading her wings,
except that she couldn't, there was no power behind
her. She craned her neck around trying to see her back,
when she finally did see she gasped in disbelief and
impulsively jolted her head back with a horrible crunch. She
had no wings. All that was left were two scars that burned
fiery hot in a jagged upside down v shape. But she kept on
running. There was no possible way to stop, it didnt make
sense but she just couldnt. No matter what, she kept on
running. Right over a cliff.

Ambriel screamed. She woke up with rumpled covers over
her head, almost suffocating her. Her legs were freezing
and she had cold, dirty feathers all over her, feathers that
could of only been from one place, a Fallen. A tingly
feeling crept up Ambriel's spine, she knew without a
seconds thought that she was being watched. Ambriel
turned to glimpse a dark yet transparent mist lurking in
the corner of the room. It enveloped her then gracefully
floated down the stairs leaving behind faint red dots of
light in its trail...

Ambriel had to go to the Academy, one of the million
things she didn't want to do that day.The mist had
unnerved her but she wasn't frightened, she'd seen
darker things. Morte wasn't in her Art class, something
Ambriel barely noticed, by the time the second bell had
rang she was really infuriated. There was a horrible
buzzing in her head and it hurt like hell, she could hardly
think. Checking her timetable she found her next lesson was
History. Oh, yeah this'll be fun when I can't even think properly
Ambriel thought darkly.

Once she had entered the room instead of going to her usual
desk she walked up to the teacher. She could sense she was
debating - in her mind – whether or not to accept or decline
Mr Devon’s offer to go to the local pub for a drink. Ambriel
silently giggled, trying to picture the two of her temporary
scholars as a couple. Somehow she couldnt see it happening.

She finally got the teacher's attention and began to speak.
"Please can I go home miss? You see I'm not
feeling too well, I’ve got the most terrible..."
She paused.
" Headache, that’s it! In my state of pain I forget what it was
called, surely it is too bad for me to continue school today."
Ambriel said weakly clutching her head.
“You can go to the nurse's office Amber if it really bothers you."
Mrs Wicke answered sharply, clearly unimpressed.
If anyone asks that last piece was…
Uh, oh what if the nurse wants to check my pulse? She’ll have
a lot of luck with that.

"Um ok thank you miss" Ambriel muttered.

“Are you ok?" A girl behind her asked.
She quickly read her presence; she was truly
concerned, not like one of those school don’t get ahead of
yourself
her conscience warned her, almost silently tutting.
Ambriel turned around.
"Oh, um not really." Ambriel admitted.
"Hmm."
The girl hesitated before continuing
"Want any help getting to the nurse's office?"She offered.
"It’s okay really, I’ll be fine but, thanks anyway..."
Ambriel trailed off not knowing the girls name.

"Keira, its keira, well see you around then, hope you get better"
she said sitting at her desk and pulling out a doodled essay
that showed the date September
2009 in curly writing. She sighed and flicked her
chestnut brown hair out of her face as an idiot from across the
room shouted,
"oi!, Keira wanna go out with me?"

Ambriel left and quickly walked down the hall, hoping there
wasn't some snotty student who would take her to the head
master's office. Then she saw it, the mist. It reached out to
touch her, brushing its fingers against her shoulder and then
evaporating into thin air.
Ambriel could feel her shoulder numb as she turned to look at
it. On her shoulder was a trail of dust which led down her arm.

She looked down seeing a piece of tattered paper with a note
scrawled on it. She picked it up gingerly as if it was poisonous
It read; leave me alone. Ambriel recoiled dropping the note on
the floor. Her arm ached all over and she could hardly
move. She felt herself falling, surrounded by a pure white light
and then, there was nothing…

Ambriel could hear voices around her, but where was she? the
voices sounded so, familiar. She opened her eyes a crack to
see a blinding glow surrounding her. she then saw where she
was. Home.
The Archangels stood around her debating on a topic she
probably should of been interested in but just didn't have the
strength.

"yes, but what about our population?" retorted Michael
"well we could always get someone else to do it" Gabriel
Interrupted.
"like who?, you know your ideas are always very good Gabriel
but you never actually know how we are supposed to do
them!" snapped Jeremiel.
"well why can't we just trust her and let her go back?" Chamuel
questioned.
"well one she could fail and we will all die, two she could reveal our
identity and put us all behind bars in laboratories so the
humans can experiment on us and three there is something out
there that could harm her." explained Ariel bluntly.

Ambriel couldn't believe it. The Archangels were arguing and it was all
her fault. She sat up and the talking reduced to a murmur. All eyes glared
at Ambriel.
"would you like to explain what happened?" Jeremiel asked
almost shrieking.
"Well I’m sure you all know by now" Ambriel replied sarcastically
as she stood up.
"do you think it is safe for you to go back?, do you want to
complete your mission?" Ariel questioned childishly.

Ambriel padded away. The archangels would come to a decision
soon but meanwhile she needed rest. Lots of rest. She lay back
on the soft cushioned floor and slept.
As she wriggled in her sleep she kept seeing the note written
by a hand over and over again. The hand was familiar but
there was no colour, no proper form, just a dark shape. It
frightened her.

suddenly she woke up. Someone was calling her name. In fact
seven people were calling her name over and over again. It
hurt her ears and the voices were high and mimicking. She got
up and followed the sound to where the Archangels stood
waiting.

"we have come to the desicion that you are to carry on
with your mission" Raziel said dryly.
Before Ambriel could say a word, they pushed her over the
boundaries of heaven and into the world below.

ALright, so, your first line.

That night Ambriel had a dream.

Right. So, as a person who hasn't read your first chapter, that doesn't tell me a whole lot. Instead, what I'd suggest doing is telling me what she was dreaming about, and why it was so scary. Explain more about her situation, is there a specific reason why she's dreaming these things?

Other then that, good.

Thanks for the reveiw but i don't agree with what you said, if you had taken the time to to read the first chapter then you would know what it was all about. To other people that have read it they won't want a reminder of what they just recently read, it would be like saying what happened in chapter 1 when you are reading chapter 20, i would get what you mean if it was a book series and you were reading book 2 and being reminded of the first book but... :/
