My (I think) lame art

I made these with a mouse in Fireworks. Sorry these are really big.

These look incredibly...odd. Especially the flower one. But you say you did them both with a mouse? The second one looks really straight! Anyway, well done! I'm okay at drawing but I absolutely suck at anything that has to do with computer drawing. You should see the 'e-safety friend' I made for IT: the guy's a stick man. Even my teacher admitted it after a good laugh.

Thanks. I did these in Fireworks. For the second one I used the shape thing they have in the toolbar. That's why it looks straight. The flower one's supposed to be a vase of sunflowers which I made the with the oil brush tool and used a preset background.

Idra, these are very pretty. I like the first two the best because they are colored and with a mouse.
I actually remember back when I had photoshop but no tablet, that made coloring epically difficult. Now, I own a wacom tablet and I'm going to buy Intuos4 this Thanksgiving so I'm eager to start working with Photoshop again. If you really like graphic art and CGI then I suggest purchasing a tablet, it'll be so much easier than using a mouse.
Now, looking at your scanned picture, I do then they're nice as well. I mean, the detail in the second one is like, 'whoa where did that attention span come from?' Ahaha, but seriously, good job, Idra!

Thanks, I should look into the graphics tablet thing. Do you know how much they cost? I hand drew the scanned pictures. The second scan, I did in two parts. I drew the feathers first then drew the center thing and then colored it.

Picture 1)

I like the abstractness of this, I do think it needs some structure though. You need some base to keep you looking at the picture, and this just seemed kind of blurry. I love the vase though.

Picture 2)

I'm not really sure what it's supposed to be. I like the second thing in the line of drawings. I kind of think of some kind of old language or something when I see this.

Picture 3)

I don't know what this is either, but I think the wire would have a little less structure. It seems really stiff and to high up. I would make it hang loose.

Picture 4)

Not much to say about it, but I like it. I think you should consider shading though.

Picture 6)

I love it but it needs to be shaded. I think that it would be gorgeous shaded.

The others I won't comment on. They are a bit plain. Nothing new. I'm not really sure what else to say since you made these up. I really enjoyed these though.
