I'm having some problems
with a certain host of
Angels.

They tease the mortals of earth,
flying over them, blowing them kisses.
Sometimes they pick them up,
taking them to a better place.

I have heard of it, even seen it,
but I have yet to be carried away.
I was hopeful once that I would be,
but such hopes have long faded.

Angles like to play games and toy
with those who aren’t fit for heaven
They will wave to them and smile
then laugh when they look up with hope.

Then they fly away from the chaos
back to their perfect heaven.

Many a time have angels circled
over my head, only to fly away.
Even now, one fly’s above me,
like a vulture waiting for death.

They say only those who are worthy
get to be with a good angel.
Every angel looks for different
mortals to take, they are unpredictable.

I have nothing heaven would want
so many have toyed with me.
Even so, I’m beginning to enjoy it.
they are very beautiful to look at.

In greek mythology, chaos was the formess void from which came night and day, the earth and sky, time and light, gods and beasts. In short, all things were born from chaos.

But the first born was love.

Interesting poem. I've always been fascinated by the idea of angels.
My main suggestion would be to play around some with the formatting. Try splitting it into chunks of four lines or 3 lines or all different lengths. The two-line structure seemed to interrupt the flow of certain sections while I was reading.
I thought the last two lines were excellent and really gave the poem an interesting perspective.
Good work.

Okay so I've made it a personal goal to review every one of you poems Nick. So this one will be my next victim. I'll put errors in red font and comments if need be after each stanza in green.

Should try formatting this or maybe adding more lenght you formatted like a stanza but it's only a single sentence.

flying over them, blowing them kisses.
Sometimes they pick them up,
taking them to a better place.
Nothing wrong here

I have heard of it, even seen it,
but I have yet to be carried away.
I was hopeful once that I would be,
but such hopes have long faded.
Good

I'm not sure with this one.
It seems like there should be an extra well placed comma or period somewhere in the middle.

Then they fly away from the chaos
back to their perfect heaven.
Again a little weird how it's only a single sentence. (Love how you fit in chaos again)

This one here looks okay too.

Okay overall evaluation. Overall my impression was much the same as nightshade. Mainly just formatting here and there and maybe looking over those two single sentences.

Anyway I'm off hopefully to do another review
