Border Collie

Okay, I know this is my second post today (trust me, it's my last one for today too )
But I felt really inspired to share it.
This is my Border Collie called Ben
He just turned up on our doorstep one day, and we just kept him. We were pretty sure he'd been hit though, as he was very nervous But he's much more confident now He's also gained a lot of weight too, which is good (he was underweight when he turned up )
But yes, I'd like some reviews on it! I'm working on a few concepts with him at the moment, and I really want to see where I can improve!

I really like the colors, though I feel like if you were to change the contrast just a liiiiittle bit up, it would really make this picture "pop". This is a pretty fantastic shot though. c:

The closeness of the dog is a little bit too close. But I like the brightness of the picture and how you blurred the objects in the background. This is really an amazing photograph and keep snapping!

Hi

1. GET RID OF THE SMILEY FACES, THEY ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY!
2. There is a bubble on your dogs tongue thats kind of disgusting, maybe you could edit it out.
3. The colors are great, and you have a pretty dog.
4. Dog photo's are hard to do and be original, so maybe try a different angle.
5. The eyes look great.

Love it, the only thing I don't like is the reflection in its awesome eyes, but that can't be helped I suppose.

This is a really good picture. You capture the dog very clearly and, it's.. wow, this picture looks professionally done. I really like it and I like the bubble on the tongue, it makes it more real, like I'm really there in your back yard face to face with that beautiful dog. I love it.

@Roadnevertravelled though, I do find your critique rather rude. Saying things in caps doesn't impress me terribly much (comes across as a bit immature and naive, you know?) especially when there is no attempt at making it slightly jokey. As to the bubble on his tongue, I won't be editing that out as I don't believe in over editing photographs :\ (I find it takes away from the personality of the object if its a human/animal - he is a young, playful dog, so a slobbery mouth is to be expected )
I'll not be cutting back on my use of and though, because I am a very smiley, happy person
However, I guess thanks for spending time looking at it

You continue to amaze me, i love this photo, I have a Border Collie to and there so cute. One thing I would change about this photo, if you made the photo black and white and left the eye color normal it would be the most amazing photo. PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, I love it.
