Those are beautiful! The second could be zoomed out a bit more, but otherwise great! The fist one's the best, in my opinion, but they're all great. Is the second supposed to look like a person? anyway, it's amazing what water does when it's frozen. I like the background being out of focus, It brings attention to the picture.

These are incredible! I haven't seen you around the forum before, so welcome!

1) I stared at this picture for about five minutes trying to figure out what this is. It is beautiful, but what is it? This is the best picture in the group; it is really, REALLY well done. You've got a great focus, angle, and INTEREST. LOTS OF INTEREST. I want to know what this thing is!

2) Again, really, really nice. I'm not sure what I think of the angle of the photo, though. It looks a little bit too "head-on", if you know what I mean. It looks like you just pointed your camera at the fruit (peach?) and pressed the shutter. To get really nice pictures, you need to plan them out a bit. But the way the the sun is playing off of the ice makes for a really nice effect. This picture looks really warm and happy to me, despite the fact is was probably freezing when you took it.

3) Second best picture. Nice, nice, nice, but it lacks the interest of #1. The picture seems bland. I wish there was a splash of color besides the blue sky. Something striking. But you've captured amazing detail in the ice. I can see every little crack and air bubble!

4) Crop this picture, and it has lots of potential. Right now, it seems that you just took a snapshot. I love the ice detail, but show us that. You don't need to include the whole plant. (Acutally, it might have been better if you just focused on the ice crystals. That is what interested me most.) The lighting is a little wonky here, too.

You've got lots of talent, m'dear! I want to see more photos from you! Try planning out your pictures a bit more, and you're gold!

Let me know if there is anything I didn't explain well enough, or if you have any questions.

Amazing. :)

It must have been really cold where you took these pictures.

These were really beautiful. Not to sound rude or anything, but what were they pictures of? I live in a warm climate so I've never seen anything like this really before. I thought the pictures were interesting to look at and unique. It reminded me of pictures they put in magazines during the winter time.

These are really wonderful shots. And I don't say that often.

Overall, I think that maybe you could play with the contrast and/or colors a bit, to make them really pop, but as it is, these are great. Probably better than the ones I've taken. Great job. c:

It's rose hips. I wasn't cold when I made these photos. Ice already began to melt. Also, living in a climate like this, a temperature -15°C seems rather nice.
I agree with your critics, 'cause i really just pointed my camera at the fruit and pressed the shutter. Then I wasn't interested in photography.

Okay, brilliant job on the bokeh!
I love the colours on the first one; the harsh white contrasting with the warmer reds.
My only issue would be that they're too close? I'd zoom out a little.

Other than that, a good attempt, you have a lot of potential! Just try to think more creatively next time, and they'll be even better! :)
