Last Art Dump

So, this'll be the last art I'll be posting for a while, what with the Nano and such...

The above features my newly adopted Oneye creatures. The topic image is likewise a Oneye. Two of the oneyes are speaking Elvish. They are saying, "Melón" which, in Elvish, means, 'friend'. (But you probably already knew that.)

You know the sort of badly-made cocoa drink (from a powder) that leaves a dark residue at the bottom? I painted this with it.

This is the translation of the Elvish runes.

Jace didn't know what to do. His love wouldn't turn her head no matter what he did. Finally, he resorted to using balloons.
In actuality, because of limited space, it looks like this.

I actually used a reference photo for this. Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, but only the upper part. Fingers and fence were my own.



I do a lot of these...sunset thingies. I'll have a large post for them later. For now, a thumbnail.

I wish I had a reference photo, but I didn't upload. Sufice to say that she herself didn't recognize the drawing when I showed it to her. (Remember the cute picture of my cousin I drew? This is my cousin's mom. But actually, the little girl's not really a cousin. Her dad is my blood cousin, so the mom is my cousin-in-law and the kid is a...second cousin? Cousin once removed? I dunno )



His name is Loong Sook. Loong is a respectful title for uncle, but some times we say Pbooh Sook, which could mean 'Grandpa'.

Hii!

And so the review begins.

I like the oneyes. They're cute and interesting.

The coloured hand at the top is creepy. It's joints look weird. Also, in the last two fingers, you've hinted a long nail while you haven't in the other three.
Basketball - The hand isn't shaped, the ball is squishied. The ball doesn't matter as long as the hand is drawn properly.

Astronaut - Hah, love this!

Two Astronauts - Their space suits should have been a little more on the puffy side like the previous astronaut. Also, the left one's head is a little too huge.

I love your inkpen too! And the wonderful stuff you have used it for.

Chocolate - Interesting thing choice! I'm sure you know tit could've been better, still, good idea.


Sun - The hands look like they're facing the wrong way. Like the palms are outside.
The dino-like thing - SO, I'm not sure what it's supposed to be, but tit's head looks like it was inspired from a hand, curved to look like a snake.
Bolt - Well, I've actually drawn loads of bolts (school stuff.) And, it always looks best when they're drawn in quick, sharp strokes. And, the inner part of the bolt should have grooves.
Monkey - Nate is the expert on monkeys, but I think it's mouth is at a different angle from its head.
The other circle thing - I SEE IT! THE SPACE MUFFIN!

Platypus - Have you been watching Phineas and Ferb? The tongue looks like a leaf fallen on the base of its mouth.

Portraits - I'm not really good with portraits and these are very good pieces even if it may not resemble the actual person. The woman especially is really good and I love how you gave a 'feel' to her clothes.

You are one SERIOUSLY talented artist. You're better than most adults, and that might not be saying much coming from some people, but you know I mean it as a huge compliment, right?
I can't critique on anything. Seriously, you're amazing. The shading, the details ... everything is incredibly well done. I didn't know we had such talent in our midst
I can't say anything else - no advice (sorry, I know that'll make you want to smash the screen with a sledgehammer) and no nitpicks. Keep up the (very, very, VERY) good work.

There was a disclaimer for disturbing images, right? I know it looks deformed, but I do hands like that sometimes. Notice the six-fingered one?
I thought the basketball hand was okay, it was the net that had me worried XD.

You may have found the space muffin, but there're two others there, LOL!
Also, the dino was supposed to be sorta hidden amongst the hills, notice how its back is hill-shaped?

Phineas...Ferb? Is that like a duck and some other creature? I've heard of it, someone's avvie I think, but I don't really know what you're talking about. The tongue was sharp like a bird's because I don't know what a real platypus tongue looks like.

Anyways, about those runes, can you read them? It's really actually English written in Tengwar with Quenta vowels, but you knew that already, right? The real Elvish runes are what the oneyes are saying up there (Melon).

I actually looked at this a while ago, and liked it, but I totally forgot to comment on it...

Your artwork is so epic, it actually hurts... I can't review things like this to save my life, so I'm just letting you know how killed I think you are. I adore the little thing you use as your avatar... All of the drawings of it are really cool. It kind of reminds me of my finger avvies... Just with one eye...

As always, let me know when you post something new! Otherwise, I'll come and beat you with an axe.
