Little piece on frustrations. I don't know if it's easily understandable or not, or whether I contradict myself, but it's there.
I'm tired of the coy smiles
meant only for me,
and the way your gaze lingers
after my eyes have met your wandering own.
The way you hold back,
but keep things going all the while,
hinting and teasing and flirting,
when all I really want is a friend.
If you have something to say,
say it;
I'm tired of playing the games
that I've never wanted to play.
