You know, that would have been really useful when I needed pictures of books and such to use for my English assignment the other day.

But I actually really love this, no lie. The use of gray scale is to die for and the lay out really does look like they all just tumbled off of the shelf and flopped open. Or as if you'd been up all night flipping from page to page in search of something super important.

I seriously love this. *claps*

I really like it, especially the titles of the pages the books were turned to. Was that coincidental or intended? It was beautiful.

I love it, I love photography, what's your medium digital or film?

The layout was very intentional actually. I'm relatively new to photography as a medium and am yet to experiment with film. Digital is just cheaper and more convenient for me right now. Plus I'm learning to use Photoshop.

I thought this was very awesome and I like the way you used the grays and contrasted the darks with the lights but I don't actually get what you're trying to do. Maybe it's because I'm stupid, because everyone else seems to get it. Anyway, I'll keep going with the review.

Amazing! I love that little "What is freedom?" in the center, framed by the other books. The Bible is somewhat hard to see, though.

Thank you Jenthura and Apple. What am I trying to do? Well I guess I'm trying to show some part of my life in the photo, or some part of my mind while also using some of my favorite books. I tried to use every possible technique that I've learned so far to make the perfect composition, image, and artistic meaning.

Okay, this is a truly sweet picture. I like how you put the classics in with the Holy Bible. All remarkable works! I love The Catcher in the Rye. One of my favorite books and writers. Salinger is epic. I have yet to read Orwell's 1984, but I plan on it soon. Great picture. It came out awesome.

This picture is fantastic, in my opinion. I think the exposure and depth is phenomenal. I love the Slaughterhouse Five page that reads "Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt".
