Angels may float down and bless my soul.
But I am never released,
From the cruel memory of you.
How you loved me and how I loved you,
But now you are gone.
Now I am lost.
In a world of agony and pain,
Because you are not here.
The twisted image of you lies in my memory,
I am left to long for you,
Suffer forever in this endless,
Unforgiving world we called home.
But Now you are gone,
Now I am lost.
Prayers are not answered,
and I am left to suffer in the harsh aftermath,
Of love with out my love,
You.
Gone, Lost, departed,
Forever. I shall never forget you, my dear,
For you are etched in my memory for eternity.
I am left alone inthis world without you,
Because the Lord has taken you for his own,
On angel wings to rest,
I the loving palm of Christ.
And yet I ask, please.
Please take me too,
For I am suffering here without you,
Out of love.

I like this poem...the sadness behind it is touching. Some constructive criticism, though, is you might want to cut down on your use of "you". You repeat it very frequently and it gets sort of repetitive...you could probably cut it out from some places and the poem would still work, because the reader knows you're talking about the same person throughout. Apart from that and a few spelling errors, it's a great poem :)

Spelling; in this, and in the. That's all I have:)

Thank you. I've read it through, and the you gets kinda annoying when you get right down to it. I never actually lost someone recently, I just put on someone else's shoes and... BAM! That's what I love about writing, you can make up a person you desperatly wish you were, and create a perfect, or not so perfect, life for them and live in their eyes, thier world their... skins. It's creepy, touching and inspiring... I'll revise the spelling and 'you's. Thank you for the feedback.

This is a wonderful poem. I enjoyed it very much. I'm sorry if you feel/felt this way. It's really hard I know. Things will get better though. You are an amazing writer. Keep writing. And I hope you find happiness again.

Thank you, Dannielle. I have felt this way many times before, but not so much now. I hope that this feeling will never come to pass anyone else, but yet that is the way life goes, and can I change it? Can anyone? I hope so, or else human kind is lost, with an eternal pain that is but ourselves. Thank you...

this is a good poem. you have expressed your emotions very well. i cant imagine what your going through, but every emotion that comes will in due time, pass.

Turn your demons into art, your shadow into a friend, your fear into fuel, your failures into teachers, your weaknesses into reasons to keep fighting. Don’t waste your pain. Recycle your heart.
