In Adini there lived a cat and a mongoose
They were both fascinated by shoes
One dark night
They were about to fight
But were trampled by a moose on the loose

Another great limerick. But what's with the 'butt'? Was it a  , or was it a deliberate mistake  ?

limericks! they should be applied in poetry far more often than they are, for they are beautiful compositions of strict rules and humorous...well...nonsense. i cannot also help but question the "butt" mistake. this only proves that us writers are far too critical over an extra "t" when it barely matters. :D

The word "shoes" doesn't really rhyme with "mongoose" or "loose." I would look in a rhyming dictionary (you can find them online now!) to find a better word.

And "butt" is your backside. :P But is the word you want.
