Very interesting but sad book. Has anyone read it?
I wasn't particularly surprised by the ending and I'm not sure if I was meant to be completely shocked about what Glory finds out regarding Della at the end. The ending was quite bittersweet though as we know the fathers health is deteriorating from the beginning of the novel and that he will die soon but Glory doesn't reflect on this and instead focuses on a future moment that may never come.
Any thoughts?
