The concoction burned through the collar and I felt my mouth drop open. "What the hell?!" I said. "If someone named Zane asks to cook for you say no." Seres replied. "Well noted." I muttered under my breath. The collar dropped off and I wrapped darkness around it and twisted inside my mind and it was crushed. "You've been practicing." Sebastion said. Katherine shifted back. "How did you do that? It's immune to magic!" She shouted pointing at the collar. "The elements aren't magic." I replied calmly then I turned to Sebastion. "Yeah I had to have something to do." I remarked coolly.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
Seres looked towards the door. The men were gone, but they might come back. "We should go" he suggested, placing some money on the table. He took out the gate crystal and examined it. "We can use this to go to the planet I mentioned." he told them.
He nodded and held the crystal out. "Hold on to this," he instructed. They did so and he murmured the activation word. The crystal glowed and light filled the room. It swallowed them up and when it cleared they were standing on a flat prairie, in front of a small looking house. "This is Cerina and that," Seres pointed to the house, "is my home."
"Wow." I muttered then I realized something with a jolt. "What about our stuff?!" I asked hurriedly. Katherine froze. "Shit." She said aloud. I groaned then rubbed my cheeks.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
"You can get new stuff." Seres said, unlocking the front door. He opened it and gestured for them to go inside. "Stuff is just stuff after all." Spoiler
I will leave the description of the room to your imaginations because I cannot think of anything right now. Sorry for the short post.
I entered the room and noted with mild surprise that it wasn't at all a bad place to live for a while or longer. Inside it was well furnished with wooden artifacts such as, a large book shelf to the left of the room and a lovely mahogany table in the middle of the room where three books lay sprawled open. I strolled over and picked it up, then turned back to Seres, " Death to wolves?" I asked with a growl, but it wasn't so much that I was angry but I was a slight bit offended at his choice of book. My gaze wandered over to the stained couch that sat infront of the table, the small black and white T.V. and the medium sized desk to the far side of the room. "Not bad." I murmured.

"Thanks," he replied. "I don't have anything against wolves, it's just that....someone very wolf-like might find me and I want to be prepared." He picked up a large tome from the table and flipped through it. "They didn't follow us," he said, relieved.
I sat on the ground and opened my bag. I breathed a sigh of relief. "I have it." I said happily. "What?" Seres asked. I pulled out a oak jewelry box with black roses painted on it. "It was my mom's jewelry box." I said sticking it back in my bag.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
"Well, as long as I'm not after you, this book should work." I flashed him a wicked smile. "I am immune to nearly every kind of magic, I am also a rather large wolf when I want to be. If I'm angry enough." I tell him, pulling another book from the shelves. "The idiot's guide to Dragon Wrestling?" this time I laughed.

"Woah woah woah what!" I said jumping up and I grabbed the book. I scanned the back of it and then smiled. 'Well if I ever have dragon problems I'll come to you." I said giving the book back to Katherine.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
I took the book and tossed it onto the shelf, deciding to pull out another one. It was entertaining seeing his literature. "A Fable of torture for the fae." I read, then looked over at Donia, and raised my eyebrows. She turned to Seres with a frown,

"It's research," Seres said. "The group that's after me, would do anything to get me back within their control. I need to find some way to stop them." He took a large key off of the bookshelf and muttered a word. The key glowed purple, curling around the two women. The light turned blue, pulsed briefly and vanished. "There, now you're keyed into my wards."
"Do you have any way to get us back home if we need to go somewhere?" I asked curiously, my grey eyes like shadows. "I need to get back and return here without being able to be traced, if you have somethi-" I paused taking a large black stone from the shelf and examined it, it pulsed in my hand and the feeling it left as it did was tingling.

Seres reached over and took the rock out of her hand. "That won't get you home," he said. He put it back, on the top shelf and handed her a orange gate crystal. "This will get you home and back with out detection. " He gestured towards the couch. "Sit, I'll make you coffee."
