done during class.. please don't judge too harshly. I'm still recovering from not-drawing-for-too-long-itus.
Thanks.

Spoiler
So, once actually uploading it on the computer, I realize how weird her legs look, haha. c:
And I know, I know, lined paper= blasphemous, but this was done in a school notebook so.. yeah. I should get a little sketchbook thingy.

This is pretty good actually (you haven't seen my friend's sketches). Didn't know people could post their drawings on here; I'll have to do it sometime.

Hello, :)

Well, this isn't as bad as you think it is! Serioulsy, i think this is good. There's always the shading issue... But this is a doodle, and normally people don't do shading on those, so I'll forgive you. :) The proportions are great, and the lines... close to perfect. The only thing that borthered me is the way her dress is falling. It looks too straight, not natural. Except for that, it was awesome.

Hi there!
You get my first review review in over 2 months, so I apologize in advance if I'm not much help.
I like her hair and her face. The way you drew her arm is nice too. Very good proportions. But I agree with theotherone that her dress seems unnatural. Try to get some more lines and shading in there so she actually has some shape. And I agree with you that her legs are a bit wonky.
Other than the two issues, this was very good.

Hey there! I like this drawing, better then anything I've drawn *clicks the like button a million times over*. But... the girl looks pregnant... pregnante? Can't remember how that's spelt. But she looks it, and pregnant/pregnante women don't press on their stomachs hard!

Hey Coral!
It's Pink ;)

Awesome, you're drawing still. I know how hard it is to get back in the swing of things. I've been having that problem as well, I just can't find the time to draw like I used to and it makes me a bit angry. Anyways, what you have drawn here is pretty good. The proportions on this women is done quite well and I don't think her legs are that weird infact, they're pretty okay to me. I like her hair too, just wish you shaded a little more. Also, her face is done quite nicely and neatly :D
My only suggestion here would be to work on her dress a little more. It kind of looks like a potato bag >.< maybe because it's too thick looking...I don't know what it is but maybe if you shaded some more and added some more dimension it would look a little nicer. Other than that, however, I have nothing else to say. Keep it up Coral! I can't wait to see more of your work! :3

Wow, this is really good!

Good points
-Proportions! They're spot-on and I can't see anything wrong with them at all.
-Posture - it looks really natural and v good :)
-FACE. Arghhhh the face is so good I can hardly believe it!! I always find profiles really hard to draw but you've done it really well here and I love the soft smile she has :)

Not-so-good points
-The way her dress falls looks quite unnatural at the bottom - maybe you should do some fabric studies so you can see better how it should fall? [This one is v good.]
-Her feet. They look a bit giant especially at the toes.
-Tut-tut ... drawing in class?!!!! xDDD

Overall I love this and I'm going to stalk you for more pictures now >D

Ahhh!!! My two number-one pet peeves with drawing! It's on lined paper and the hair is drawn with the common mistake that people make, and that's the belief that they have to draw it strand-by-strand. So, yeah, you did this in class, so I'll ignore the lined-paper deal. But here's a tip for the hair, because a lot of people do the same thing as you: instead of drawing all that hair (because, really, you can't cover an entire head that way) you want to draw the outer form of the hair, then shade and highlight it to make it look a lot more realistic. Curly hair's a little trickier, but it makes it way more realistic. Other than that, like you said, the legs are a little weird and also the bottom of her dress is kind of odd the way it's shaded. This might seem like a lotta stuff but really this is actually a good picture and I'm just picking on you about all the little things I see, so sorry for that. But really, it's a nice drawing.

Woah! For having not-drawing-for-too-long-itus, this is fantastic! I see just one odd little mistake that may very well only occur to me; her feet look very big! I know what the mistake is, too; the right foot is not outlined very darkly against the left foot, you they combine, making the right foot look gigantic. Just a little line would do. :D

I hope this helps!

- Abigail

P.S. Is the character pregnant? I just thought she might be from the way her arms are pursed around her stomach.

You know, I like the drawing's that are drawn on notebooks the most.
I think it means they are spontaneous and you just draw what you're imagining, you don't wait to find a clean piece of paper, it's straight from head to hand :)

The drawing, of course, is pretty good, I like her hair the most :)

Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.
