Okay, first off, I am a huge HP junkie, and I thought this was absolutely wonderful! Congrats on your first piece, and welcome to YWS! Now on to the nitpicking…
In the first paragraph, you wrote,
Since this morning Dumbledore must have read and re-read the accursed thing more than a hundred times in an effort to spot the phrase "April fool!"
Now at first I thought you meant to spot the meaning of “April Fool!” because it’s kinda a Muggle thing I got confused when I read the end:
sigh at the fact that there was still no "April Fool!"
. Then I reread the beginning and went, OOOOHHHHHH! That’s really it for the nitpicking. Considering this was your FIRST POST good job, and good luck!! Also, on behalf of everyone here on YWS, WELCOME!!

Love it!
It's funny because if Hogwarts were a real school of magic, something like that would happen, then Dumbledore would fix it all because he is Epic.

You should write more parody's like this for HP. Or even the Twilight Saga.

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You’re moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You’ve just crossed over into… the Twilight Zone.
