Which Photo?

Which of these photos do you like best? I'm submitting one and I don't know which one to submit.

This one I thought was very arr-tee-stick, lol. I drew the rainbow using oil pastels, and then took a photo of it, hehehe. Can ya recognize it anywhere else?

I like the first more, personally. It seems more alive. The way the colors blend is also nice, like the gold-green-blue near the bottom. Like the brown color almost makes me think of flowing water, or long wavy hair. The second is cool, but I thought that there was a bit too much going on at once. Also, the way that the lighting ended up showing the glass in the second one kept it from being as pure as the first. It was close though, I liked them both.

I actually really, really like both The first one is cute because it's like a rainbow but it's all smudged and unperfect, unlike what rainbow should be. Maybe I'm overanalyzing it but I see a message in it, and I like. I found that very interesting and the angle you took the picture and the colours are really good.

The second one is really interesting as well but maybe I am leaning towards that one. I can't quite figure out what exactly what it is but the colours, the little clouds they are making and the shapes are so beautiful! It really speaks to me

I'd say you could submit either. One or the other would work. Both are really beautiful!

Hi Hibiscus! I'm gonna have to go with the first photograph. I couldn't exactly tell what the blue/red thing was until I read the description; I think it may have been the angle which the photo was taken in. On the other hand, the rainbow is so deep and meaningful and has such strong symbolism. It really touches a nerve in the eye of the beholder. I hope this helps!

The second photo, I swear to Yahweh, Thor, Isis, and Zeus, I thought was a photoshopped eyeball. Really cool effect there. I am really inspired to take photos of wine glasses now!

I love both of those though so submit what you want I guess.

I gotta say the 1st one! It just catches your attention. Verrry unique.
It just looks skillful and different.
But the rainbow was awesome! It was like uhm, different? I just can't explain it! Ugh. Pastels work very surprising too. That's one reason I love using them. =)

I like both the photos but mainly the rainbow... I saw that it was your Avatar pic, but I always thought that it was a fether, not a rainbow, it is a very good drawing, makes the rainbow look like it was crying itself away... I love it!!

I think the rainbow is the best, i just love the way you've focused on the middle part of the rainbow, and the colours you've used are simply beautiful. It really works well, but it doesn't really look much like a rainbow. More like some colours painted side by side and curved, it's nice though. I think if you were to have it look more like a rainbow, you could have painted a blue background, it wouldn't have to be a complete background, just around the rainbow to give the idea of a sky. If you get what i mean?
Anyway, it's awesome! i LOVE IT!
