Tilor

She started laughing, so at least she wasn't hurt.
"Are YOU okay?" couldn't be too safe.
She continued to laugh, so I helped her up anyway. She stopped laughing and patted my arm.
"What are you doing out this way, the hunting group went that way." she asked, pointing west, into the distance.
"I got sidetracked, again," I admitted.
I really did that too often, she shook her head and smiled. I turned to the tree and jumped up, grabbing a low branch and pulling myself up.

"Look at the viperwolves, so carefree, it's like nothing bad had ever happened here," I sighed, laying on my stomach, while on the branch. I propped my elbows on the branch and placed my chin in my palms.

Naria:

I sighed. She was right. It was like nothing bad had ever happened....if you didn't count the missing Tribe Members. We could look for them later, I told myself sternly. I went to climb the tree again, and didn't fall. Smiling, I ran along one of the branches.

"Don't forget to be back at camp by nightfall," I called back. "We are celebrating the last Toruk Makto again." I didn't bother to wait for an answer.

Jake Sully. He was the last Toruk Makto.... And, well... He was no longer here. Along with Neytiri. No one knew for sure what had happened to them... Shaking my head, I climbed up higher and crouched down on a branch. Now, where was my sister?

Kiyeri

Kiyeri dropped delicately down from a tall, mossy tree. She preferred to hunt either alone or with her sister, fearing that the clumsiness of another tribe member could scare away the prey. The only sounds she wanted to hear were that of her prey, and the hiss of her arrow as it cut through the air, before striking.

She walked a few paced forward before pausing, hearing a rustling up ahead. Kiyeri stood with complete stillness, listening until she heard laughter and soft voices ahead. Flattening her ears in frustration, she began a confident stride in the direction of the voices; breaking through a few bushes in time to see Tilor dash away. Her sister, Naria, stood there with her back turned to Kiyeri, looking after Tilor with not-quite stifled amusement.

"Your hunt doesn't look successful." Kiyeri stated, walking forward to meet her sister.

I chuckled at Naria ran off, I laid on my stomach and watched a little viperwolf tackle it's sibling, then roll over. It's sibling did the same to it. After repeating this a few times, they chases each other in circles. Their mother watched the whole time, a sly grin on her face, as she watched her pups frolic and play.

Watching the pup siblings was amusing, but I knew I would have to go back to the village soon. I heard movement below, and figured it was my brother looking for me. he was often the one to come find me when I wandered off. I MEANT to turn over and land on my feet in front of him, but instead, I landed in the arms of one of the warriors. Whom I didn't know well... or at all really. Who was he?

"Uh, hi." I muttered sheepishly.

Naria:

I jumped when my sister spoke. "Kiyeri, are you trying to scare me?" I asked, scowling at her. She just gave me a little half smile. I sighed. "I think Tilor has scared off all the prey...." I let the words fade away and looked around. "Shall we head back to camp or shall we continue the hunt, Tsmuke?"

My sister didn't answer so I turned to stare at her, frowning.

"Tsmuke?" Nothing. I sighed and walked over to her, about to wave a hand in front of her eyes. "Tsmuke?" I asked.

Tsanten

I chuckled softly and set the huntress down, smiling coyly. "Hello." Quite honestly, I was feeling rather proud of myself for catching her, which was only adding to my smugness. I'm not quite sure that was a good thing.

The huntress crossed her arms and flattened her ears, unamused. A tad embaressed if I wasn't mistaken, but who wouldn't be?

I cleared my throat and attempted to soften my smile. "Tilor, isn't it?"

A slow nod.

"Tsanten." There was a bit of an awkward silence that followed, not that I minded too much. I wasn't quite sure what else to say to her. What exactly are you supposed to say to somebody you caught from falling out of a tree? I shook my head. "You really should be more careful." My smile was more of an amused smirk again, and no matter how hard I tried to soften it, it stuck.

I rolled my eyes.
"Ya, I'll try and remember that." I laughed.
I jumped up and grabbed the branch, swinging myself up onto it. I glanced over at where the viperwolves had been. Dang it, the mother must have sensed danger and took her pups away.
"Shouldn't you be with the other hunters? They went..."
I looked down at him.
"That way, I know." I sighed.
"So... Why aren't you with them?" he questioned, reminding me some what of my brother.
"I got side tracked. It doesn't matter, I have to be heading back to the village soon anyway." I muttered, lowering myself back down. If the wolves weren't there anymore, I would go look for them.

Tsanten

I watched for a moment as she wandered off. In the exact opposite direction of the village, which is where she seemed to have claimed she was going. I sighed quietly to myself, debating on whether or not to follow. It's not like I really had anything important to do for the time being, so why not?

Besides, she was running off. It would only be responsible of me to keep an eye on her. There's no telling what she may get herself into.

I grinned and started after her, keeping a very safe distance. She had looked back a few times, each of which I was hardly successful in pulling myself out of her sight in time. The reason for the secrecy was completely unkown to me. I was probably afraid of being turned back, though it was hard to say for sure.

Her ears lifted slightly, listening. I froze, momentarly afraid she had heard me following her through the woods. She crept to her left slowly, pulling her body into the trees, obviously trying to remain as quiet as possible.

I stepped closer, officially curious as to what she was up to. Now, being caught following her around like this now probably wouldn't be a good thing. I had to stifle a chuckle.

Now, what was she up to?

I thought I heard something, and I was right. I pinned myself back against a tree as the viperwolves tried to see where the noise came from. They didn't see me. Thank Eywa. I turned slowly and scrambled up the tree, looking down at the pups and their mother playing below.

The pups were fairly big, and soon enough they would be on there own. Just like soon enough I needed to pick a mate. My stomach churned and I covered it with my arms. Was I really ready for this? Was I REALLY ready for this? Probably not. But I didn't have a say.

A pup yelped when it's sibling had bitten it a bit to hard. I couldn't help but laugh, the mother looked up and stood. I returned to sitting perfectly still, the mother took this as a sigh I wasn't a threat, and sat back down. Phew. The pups looked around nervously, their mother stayed alert and at the ready.

I saw something move out of the corner of my and turned that way slightly, just in time to see something move out of view. Dinner. I swung myself to the other side of the tree and dropped silently, approaching where the animal moved slowly. I didn't want to alert the animal, and I didn't want to go back to the village empty handed.

I tackled the creature.

"AHH! What in Eywa?" it yelped.
It grabbed my wrist, making me drop my dagger, and I, in turn grabbed it's forearm and tried to twist it behind it's back. Then it twisted me around and pinned me to a tree.
"Tilor, it's me," he panted.
It was Tsanten. I had just attacked a warrior. My face burnt red from embarrassment. I tried to ramble an apology that didn't want to come out. How very embarrassing.

Kiyeri

Kiyeri paused, ignoring her sister and listening to the other surroundings.

"Tsmuke? Tsmuke?" Naria repeated, waving her hand in front of Kiyeri's face. Kiyeri swatted her hand away, raising a finger before beckoning at the tree. In a few swift movements, she silently climbed the tree, using the natural footholds. She watched her sister, Naria, look at her curiously before following with the same silence. From one of the lowhanging branches, Kiyeri poined down to some rustling bushes, where she saw a flash of fur.

"Maybe not all the prey was scared away, after all." Kiyeri barely spoke, next to Naria's ear.

Naria:

I nodded, watching as my sister followed our prey with her eyes. We waited for a moment before following our quary from above.

"Yerik," I said as I saw a flash of colour. Kiyeri nodded.

She took the lead, an arrow notched, and disappeared to the left. I took the right...and then I saw something else. Tsanten had Tilor pinned to a tree. I blinked, watching them. They seemed to be arguing. Frowning, I dropped out of the tree and landed with a soft thud behind Tsanten.

"What's going on here?" I asked, looking from Tsanten to Tilor and back. Tsanten didn't answer so I looked to Tilor. Tilor was mouthing words, but not saying them. I watched her for a moment, then stared. Was she apologizing? Why would she be doing that? "Tilor? Tsanten? What happened here?"

Tsanten

I released Tilor quickly and took a step back, biting my lip hard. I didn't know whether I was going to burst into hysterics or start rambling apologies. Now what was I supposed to say? I was following Tilor around and she mauled me? No, that wouldn't work.

I stole a glance at Tilor, who looked like she was silently begging the earth to devour her. Poor girl. I almost felt guilty for wanting to laugh. But only almost.

"I suppose it was my fault," I muttered finally.

Naria crossed her arms. "Yes...?"

My eyes rested on the ground, though I could hardly hide my amused grin. From my point of view, this whole thing was honestly hilarious. "I was...following her..." My grin faded. That just didn't sound quite right. Okay, so it sounded completely wrong.

"You were...following her?"

I sighed and glanced at Tilor again, practically begging for help. "Yes. Following her. She said she was going back to the village, then went in the opposite direction. Forgive my curiousity." I gave up then. This sounded absolutely terrible.

I sputtered, mumbled, and my face flushed in embarrassment.
"Well..." she started "Why didn't you go back to the village?" she asked.
I felt like I was being lectured as if I were a child. I felt like a child. I sputtered and mumbled a but more, feeling like an idiot.
"I was following an animal," not a complete lie, "Then I saw Tsanten and mistook him for an animal and attacked him. He stopped me then you walked in," I mumbled looking towards the ground.
She nodded as I traced little circles in the ground with my foot. Over and over in my head I screamed 'Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"

Naria:

I sighed and shook my head. "I am going back to the village," I told them and set off in the right direction, climbing a tree to run along on higher ground. I just hoped there wasn't a Palulukan around. I wondered if my sister had caught her prey or not. Then decided not to worry about it.

The forest was quiet as I made my way back to the village. As I left the cover of the trees, I was aware of several tribe members watching me. I had come back with nothing; an unsuccessful hunt. I didn't mind, I'd had enough of sneaking through the forest looking for prey.

Mother was waiting for me when I entered the village. Oh, this couldn't be good.

"Naria, we need to talk," she said, then she frowned at me. "Where is Kiyeri?"

"Tsmuke is still hunting, Sa’nok," I told her and brushed past, heading for the main fire. She followed at a slower pace and I tried not to pay attention to her. I knew what she wanted; She wanted me to chose a mate. Or rather, someone to choose me as a mate. Me and my sister; she wanted use both to find a mate. I sighed. I was dreading this.

Tsanten

I waited quietly until Naria was out of sight. A smile was creeping across my face, and I was finding it difficult to supress my laughter. All threats gone, the situation seemed hilarious. I swallowed my urge to burst into hysterics, for Tilor's sake and attempted to force my lips into a straight line.

"You...thought I was an animal?" I asked, clearing my throat to keep myself from laughing. Falling from the tree-tops and into my arms, and then mistaking me for an animal and mauling me. Poor thing.

She frowned at me, wrinkling her nose. I couldn't hold back a snort, then a bit of a chuckle. The chuckle was because I had been unable to hold back the snort. The fit of laughter that came shortly after was because of the situation.
