-You live in Australia so cool! You must have an awesome accent.

- Two novels, that is awesome. I will look around for the one you have put up and keep an eye out for the other one. On this site the best way to get reviews is to just get around the site(people will recognize you), give other people reviews, and go to Will Review For Food. You can find this under all Community Forums. People are just begging for you to ask them for a review.

-So for the official HI MISTY!!! YWS is a great place to improve your writing and help other writers. You also can get to know lots of other writers. At first it can be a bit overwhelming. I didn't even know about Welcome Matt for a month or two. Just explore. Each day try to click on something new. If you have a question don't be afraid to ask we are all very helpful and remember what it was like to first join.

-Do you enjoy short stories? Poetry? Coffee or tea? Cats or dogs? What's your favorite color?

-If you have any questions feel free to P.M. (private message) me.

-The first thing you should do is get an avatar! It is what people will know you by. (With so many users sometimes it is hard to remember names.)

It is nice to meet you too and I hope to see you around the site,

A. S.

Hi! Like Cal said, there's a lot of cool stuff here. For the most part you just have to explore, but some things you might want to keep an eye out for are:

-Writing Tutorials. That's in the Knowledge Base under Resources. There are a ton of user-made threads dealing with a lot of different aspects of writing. Just by skimming through there my writing has improved a lot. I'd suggest checking it out.

-Blogs. They're not just for internet stalkers anymore! All jokes aside, they're a great way to get to know people on here. Or, post your own blog. They can be about anything, really, so have fun with it.

-Storybooks. Not everyone likes them, but personally, I think they're great. Under Read/Write, there's a tab that says Storybook RPGs. What you do is, someone makes an initial post telling of the plot and giving you a blank character profile to fill out. Once you and a decent amount of other people do, you start, everyone taking turns posting from your own characters point of view. It certainly makes things interesting that way!

-Mods. People whose name is in green. If you have any questions, contact them and they'll be happy to answer. Also, if you accidentally put your work in the wrong category, one of them can move it.

As I said, there's a ton more things you can do, but I'll let you figure all that out for yourself. If you have any questions about things I've told about, or any questions about the site, PM me. I'd love to hear from you. :D

Hi Mist! Welcome to YWS!
*dances*

Glad to have you here! So you're working on two novels? Wow, that's quite the bit to juggle, hmm?
I thought I'd give it go once but it turns out my brain can't handle such pressure ;)
So, what kind of genre do you write? I'm a romance freak (ugh, right?)
But yes, do post and share your stories, I'd love to review them :)
Also, if you ever find yourself in a pickle, don't hesitate to pm me (private message) I'll be happy to lend a hand.
If not, you can always contact the mods (users with green names) they know what they're doing.
Well, have fun!

~Pink
There are three rules for writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.

By living in Australia its hard to say that ive got an accent i will probably find out when i go traveling after i finish uni.
i prefer large novels over short stories. i cant stand poetry. i love both cats and dogs. my favourite colour is lavender.
writing 2 novels isn't always a juggle because most of the time i cant physically write one and the other one i can write over 1000 words in a day.
i like a lot of genres to read but i prefer to write fantasy with a bit of romance later on in the series.
Moon shadows can be found in the recently added section if you would like to review it for me, it would be great, i have only done the prolouge and the 1st chapter and i think chapter 2 will be up in a few days.

thanks
Mist

Hey Mist, the name is Flower~Child, but you can call me Flower for short. Two novels huh? I can barely focus on one poem, or one short story at a time. I don't know I think it's the add or something. I hope you are finding everything ok! If not feel free to pm me, or you can pm me just to chat! I would be pee my pants happy haha. (I know I sound really weird, but I'm not)

Anyway if you need a review or just need something, feel free to ask!

My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.
