Well. I've been wanting to join a writing group for a while, to try to get over my fear of letting other people read my writing...but I'm a bit intimidated by it.

Hi.

I know what you mean... I've been writing since I was eight, and refused to show anything to anyone ever until last year. Took a lot to come out of my shell, but I was really happy once I did. You would not believe how much I've improved.
YWS is a great community- lots of support and friendly (virtual) faces. :)

So, don't worry about being scared, everyone is like that. Well...not everyone but I know I was!
I hesitated for about two weeks or something before I actually posted something on here but in the end I was happy that people were actually replying to it and taking time to fix my errors and give me advice to grow as a writer.
Anyway, this is a great community and everyone's super friendly so don't worry too much. I'll be looking out for your work! And if you ever have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to pm (private message) me :) I'll be glad to help you out - or you can always message the the mods, they're the ones who have their names in green. *points to Aquamarine* They know their way around here, haha.

I do indeed! I have only seen disjointed bits and pieces of season 5, but what I've seen so far is awesome. Matt Smith is very strange compared to David Tennant, but I like him more and more every episode I see him in.


Yay! :D Yeah, he's grown on me a lot. At first I really missed David Tennant but now I've decided Matt Smith is amazing. It's definitely worth watching the whole season because the overarching plot is really clever.

I still miss David Tennant (I cried when I watched The End Of Time...)
Can't wait for season 5 to come out on DVD.
