The human you drew was pretty good, but it was bad quality in my opinion. I couldn't see any arms, but the fact that she doesn't have any clothes and the completely unfitting expression was off setting. It was good though, you just need to work on matching face expressions and body postures.
The horse looks extremely, even overly, muscular. There is something under the beely that looks pretty strange too, almost like a tumor. The eye also kind of looks unrealistic, but it's way better than anything I could do.
So- I think that the human was done quite well. You said that the nose gave you some trouble- I can see. Personally, when I'm drawing faces, I always just draw the nose by doing the bottom outline. Whenever I've tried to do a three-segmented-line-connecting-thingy like the one you have here, it never turns out well. In fact, I get so frustrated, I usually scrap the entire thing. So just practice doing a natural nose- left nostril, round of the nose, and right nostril. Make it one swoosh, and it eventually becomes a natural way to draw them, and it looks natural. Of course, I'm also a fan of shading, but that differs on your style.
It also looks like you had some trouble with the hipbones. I would try these again, and spread them out a bit more, and point in. Those should also be somewhat softer lines, unless they're really jutting out, which is difficult if she's standing. Overall, I think that the hair and physique are very nicely done. Her waist and hips kind of blend into one, which isn't realistic, but again, that is dependent on style. The right eye is a bit smaller than the left, which is understandable for perspective, but it's a bit overdone. And bothers me. Also, the lips seem a bit too slanted towards the left and down, to me at least. I would also think about making the highest stomach line slant the other way, to show her ribcage's end.
For the horse? Well, I've always been terrible at drawing horses, I'm not going to lie. Humans are something I'm much more familiar with. I think that the muscle definition is fine, and the mane was done beautifully. Great job.
Otherwise, excellent job. I like the clean lines and simple style. I think that for your drawing, arms aren't always needed. They're suggested enough to satisfy me. Great job.
One thing I have to say is that you drew only the main lines... You need depth and shadows in there in order to make them look more realistic and an impression of fullness... If you understand what I'm talking about.
For the girl, there's no arms, and again, you need shadows. Another tip for that, is don't draw the light itself but the shadows, you need to make your outlines disappear, because if you look at someone, you don't see the big black/gray line that's around them, do you?
