Hey guys I'm kinda getting my feet wet with this writing thing, and I figured that like with most things in life I would be better with some advice. For the most part I'm a poet but unlike some of the other stuff I read from people my age I tend not to do angsty work. Also my name is Ryan, and please address me as such.
Since you don't do the angst type of work, I'm intrigues to know what type of pieces you do write. Since, you're looking for advice, I'll be happy to give some. Firstly, I suggest you read 101 Tips For Writers it's a really good place to look if you're going for advice. This site is a really nice one to join if you're looking to improve your skills. You made the right choice joining. If you have any questions, I'll try my best to help but it would be best to ask the mods and junior mods. They are the people whose name is written in green.

Also, in reference to your username, have you ever tried to write epic poetry?
