Okay.. so I've never posted any photography.. like.. anywhere. I dunno what you guys will think of it. In fact, I'm not even sure that it will show up, haha.
I am in dire need of criticisms, comments, and all that jazz. Much appreciated. :D

These are from my trip home to California.. we went to the beach. Northern California, so more mountainous and less surfers.. :)

"Sand Panorama" This is actually my mom. :) It really reminds me of The Book of Eli.

Hey Persephoneia!!
I am so glad that you posted these! I can see them wonderfully! They are so pretty!
1 Not my favorite, but I like how the wild flowers and rock are.

2So pretty! I love the hills\mountains!

3 Your mom took the pic, or your mom's in the pic? The grass is pretty!

4 The sand is so detailed! I love how the feather is ruffled!

5 I like how there's foot prints in the sand!

Over all: I love how you are able to capture pictures in very high detail! I like how they all are in black and white, well most of them.
My favorites are number 4 and 5. Sorry I can't give you any criticisms, but there all so good!

Willy Wonka: Of course you can! Everything in this room is eatable, even *I'm* eatable! But that is called "cannibalism," my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies.

Hello, Persephoneia. I'm going to try and give you a good review, okay?

One: I like the flowers at the bottom of the picture and how they sort of frame the lake. The reflection on the lake looks well. I do believe there should be less background, though, the house and trees in the distance are a bit distracting.

Two: Very well taken. I love the leading lines approach to this photo. The only thing that strikes me as a bit annoying, is the tree that juts out in the path. Not the one closet to you, but the one further down the path.

Three: This really does remind me of The Book of Eli! I really have nothing much to say about this photo other than it was well taken and very simple but, at the same time, nice to look at.

Four: This picture is really detailed. I like how detailed the feather is, but the sharpness and detail of the sand is a bit distracting, to me at least. The feather is the focal point of the picture, but I find myself looking more at the sand. It may be the fact that I have the attention span of a goldfish, but the sand is more appealing.

Five: I love the simplicity of this photo. The foot holes in the sand and the lone log. The detail of the log is also very good, taking into consideration the distance it is from the camera. This may actually be my favorite photo.

What type of camera did you use? My brain is telling me that you used a Canon Rebel but that's just because my brain is in love with that camera. Your photos are really well taken and, whatever camera you used, it's a really good one.

You call this lame attempts?
Argh, I should be angry at you but I can't because I love all your photographs!
All I have is this digi camera, and I barely go out to take pictures even though there's some nice scenery around where I live.
Anyways, I love all of them, I'm not much of a photographer but my favorite is 'Feather' just because it's so simplistic and sharp at the same time. I like the detail it goes into without making the picture seem too clutter-y. If you know what I mean :/
Anyways, wonderful pictures! They are not lame. They're beautiful :3
Cheers,

Hi Persephoneia! Let me just start out by saying these are really great! You've got a lot of talent, and I will be dropping your other post a review once I've done this one. And northern CA might be one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

1. I LOVE the flower and rock detail at the bottom of the photo. The scenery around it, though? Doesn't work for me that much. I'd crop it down so that we don't see all of the greenery in the background. Other than that, I'd try taking the picture out of B&W. Might help if you wanted to keep the scenery.

2. Love it. Well done. You might want to try straightening it, as it is a little crooked, but that's all I can think of.

3. Love it. No comment. It is great.

4. Beautiful! The texture on the sand is amazing.

5. Great. The only thing I can think of it that the driftwood blends in a little too much with the grasses behind. You might want to consider taking this out of B/W.

Beautiful work! Excellent! Some of this look professional-grade! I'll definitely be looking for more from you!

These are pretty good. I especially like the composition of "Feather", just the way it's laid out. It's creative.
