I have to say, I like this picture. The simplistic view of the daisy is intriguing and I like how it pops out of the picture. For some reason, I don't like how the background is so sharp though, to the point where I can see all the little dents in the dirt and the little twigs and all. That's just me, I think it's distracting >.< Oh well, overall this picture is nice an done well. I especially like how the flower is dead on in the center of the picture. Cheers,

I really like this picture! I think you've done a nice job with focus and contrast, and you've made the angle somewhat unusual. I can't make out any of the daisy's foliage, so it is obviously a straight-from-above angle. (Which, in itself, is a feat! I don't see your shadow or the camera's! Well done!)
My only problem with this picture is the (surprisingly) daisy. The highlights are way blown out. Do you see how the daisy has a kind of glow about it? That's my problem. You've got an amazing amount of detail on the dirt and twigs below, but almost none on the daisy. It just looks like solid white. The glow around the daisy could be used for your own purposes, but I think that it is not the best option for this picture.
But, really, this is a great picture. If this is in your backyard or around your house, I'd recommend going back to play with the lighting on this picture.

I really like how this picture is so crisp and detailed. The white of the daisy really stands out against the brown background. I wouldn't say the background was distracting but it could be a bit softer. I do like the detail but it sort of compeates with the daisy for attention. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Well, I hope you do.
Hi Campergirl! Just to let you know, that's not a daisy, it's a Bloodroot.
I really love this picture! I love how you have this young, beautiful bloodroot is among dead, dried up leaves and twigs. I would just around with the angles a little more. One thing that I would of done is too after taking this picture, pick\pull up the little green plants, just to make it more.......how should I put this, so that the bloodroot is the only thing alive in this pI also like it with the green weeds.

This has a really good feel to it. The flower is the main focus, which is what you were aiming for, I assume, but the dead leaves, dirt, and earth make it brighter, more lively. It gives the photo more texture, to me. Good shot all together (:
