On my face,
Hands held high,
I wanna touch Your grace tonight.
On my knees,
Feeling weak,
But I know that you're my strength.
My soul cries out,
Tears fallin' down,
God, my heart feels so empty.

So I hold on to the promises You've made,
Believing You will remain by my side,
Always, forever, the same,
Amen.

Lookin' up,
To praise your name,
I'm finally realizing why You came.
My love comes short,
Every day,
As the fear invades.
Acknowledging who You are,
is really hard when I'm standing in the dark.

Let me just start off by saying I don't like this kind of music, so I'm not going to give a critique on the quality of it, and what it's saying, etc. I'm here to lecture you on grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
God my heart feels so empty.

A comma is needed in between God and my.
Alaways, forever, the same,
You should use the spell-checker, that's what it's there for!
To praise you're name,
an apostrophe is to connect two words and make them one. Like you are would become you're. But if you split it up again, it would come out like this:
To praise you are name.
It should be your. Also, your should be capitalized, as you are talking about God. That's all. Keep an eye out for stuff like that, because I might have missed something. :D
And the angel said unto him, “stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself.” But lo, he could not stop, for the angel was hitting him with his own hands.

Just a few typing errors.
Thank you, although it was a bit harsh.(:
So, what kind of music do you like?

Honestly, this was just something to post.
It was one of my first songs.

Do you have any advise, on how a song should be written?
I'll take what I can get.
