I really like how, for the moon, it's not just your average, smooth-lined crescent; that it actually looks like the back of a head, a jaw-line, a brow-bone... My suggestion would be to add maybe some light shading. Nothing to distract from the simplicity of it, because that's actually one of the things that makes it so whimsical, but just enough to make it pop a bit.
I really like the pianist drawing, and how tall and spindly everything is. It's out of proportion, but in a very pleasing way. Strangely enough, I like the piano bench's legs the best.
The little poem for it is nice. "...warm patch of universe..." gives me a pleasant mental image, and I can sort of feel how the moon might feel up there.
I really like your style. Thanks for sharing this!

Wow, I have to say, your title brought me in xD I love how simplistic and clean your drawing is, making it easy on the eyes. But there is one tiny thing I'd like to point out, the perspective needs some work. The man's leg is awkwardly placed when compared to the leg of the chair. I don't know, that's all really. I love your drawing! Keep it up,

Wow, this picture gives me such a nice feeling. It's so smooth and flowing. I love the style. Anyways. The thing that seemed to bug me, is how his foot is tangled up in one of the legs of the chair. You see, when my eye goes down there, my eye gets tangled up in that area too! I think this picture would be much nicer if you moved that foot a bit away from the leg of the chair.
Hi, there, Doris! Let's talk about your drawings, shall we?
The Moon I think your drawing of the moon is very nice. It seems very serene, with the moon smiling and all. I don't know why, but I always love pictures where the sun or moon or stars are given humanly characteristics - like smiling, or sunglasses, anything like that. So, yes, very cute!
The Pianist I'm having conflicting feelings with this piece. It seems so wonderful, but the flaws are just so distracting. Some feeling inside me keeps telling me that this woman playing the piano should have long, beautiful hair, instead of that short crop. But that's just me. Besides that, the pianist's leg looks so odd when it is in such close proximity with those abstract chair legs.
Overall I liked this! You have a few things to work on until it's truly and honestly wonderful, but all in all, it's a pretty good piece of work. I hope this helped. x Mizz

I think you have an amazing style. At first, when I looked at the drwings, i waslike, "Hey, that moon looks weird, and why are their curls on the pianists bench?" But now, after a few looks, i realize that they are done in a very specific style, yourstyle. I love both of them. I also love the medium you used to draw the moon, it makes the shape and texture pop more from the page. Love it!
When all you have is nothing, there is alot to go around.
I LOVE THESE. The style is simplistic and absolutely wonderful.. the character expressed in both of these drawings is astounding, and the lines are simple and a bit swooshy, which lend even more emotion to the drawings. Which makes me very happy.
I love the style! I can just see the movement in the pianist's legs and arms and I always like spindly-looking things, like the legs of the person, chair, piano...
