If one of you listens to Voltaire I tip my hat to you and Lord Beelzebub gives you a bear hug.

Well, a few months ago, one of my good friends introduced me to this artist, not very well-known. At the time, the only thing I had been listening to was hard rock and metal, so when I first heard his music, my first thought was, "This is a bit strange..."
But my friend wouldn't stop sending me his songs. I started to like them. Heck, I thought, I'll get an album.
Now, his obscure lyrics, raw and not-so-digitally-altered-as-everything-else vocals and instruments has made Voltaire my favourite artist. It's a refreshment for me from the now-poisoned music industry.

Just thought I'd share, because I'm a little obsessed. I can't promise that everyone will like (I've seen many disapproving comments on YouTube). XD

Anyway, the songs I find myself replaying most are Ex Lover's Lover, The Headless Waltz, Blue-Eyed Matador and Graveyard Picnic. 8]

I've only just now heard of him, thanks to you, but thanks for the links! I really like what I've heard. :D

I understand what you mean by obsessing over an artist. Since about February, I've been obsessing over this one band called Placebo. It's not nearly as obscure as Voltaire, but I do like the band quite a lot. xD
Grasped by the throat, grasped by the throat. That's how I feel about love. That it's not worth it.

=D Thanks for mentioning Placebo. I just looked them up and I enjoyed it; original sound. :D

There's a Brazilian things you could write about. You just gotta pick Juan.
