My name is Deva, but you can call me by my username if you want. It doesn't really matter to me. I love reading and writing, and am currently writing both a novel and a series of short stories. This isn't my first writing forum, so I know what is expected of me when reviewing (we call it critiquing on the other site, so I suppose I'll have to get used to the change). I'm eager to help others, and I hope that I can get some good reviews while I'm here. This looks like a nice place.

What other writing sites are you on? I've tried joining a few others in the past but my activity is either non-existent from the go or just wanes over a week. xD

Anyway, what's your novel about? Any particular genre or does it fall into quite a few categories. Do post it, and the short stories, on YWS - and PM me when you do, I'd love to take a look at them.

I've been on Young Writers Online for about a year and a half now.

My novel is fantasy/psychological (I guess I might say it has a little horror in it, too, but it's definitely not a horror novel). I'm going to post the first chapter soon, once I'e done a few more reviews...

Gosh, I love so many authors... Right now I really like Sara(h?) Gruen, Jonathan Howard, China Mieville, Scott Westerfeld... I could go through my bookshelves, but I'm too lazy. ^^

I like to write fantasy, but not medieval-era, dragons and princess-type fantasy. I like writing whimsical things, too. And psychological things.

Yes, I do write poetry. I haven't for very long, but I try. *shrugs*
