Heyy ^_^ My name is Alexis. I am 17 years old, currently going into grade 12 this coming year. I have looked for quite some period, attempting to find a decent writing forum. Although I've only been a member for a few days, I already find this site fairly appealing!

My favorite genre is 'Horror' by far! I am passionate about the subject, enjoying movies, books, paranormal investigation stories and plays. Darren Shan has been my ultimate inspiration for some time now, but I also take a liking to the works of Stephan King.

Simple poetry is something I've come to like in school. I'm not sure that I'm cut out for the real deal though! ^_^

Wow, horror eh? I've never actually read a true horror novel/book, but I have read some thrillers before. I'm fairly new to the YWS as well but I love this site already! I hope to read your work soon!

No I have never heard of those! BUT am always open to try new things

My favorite book is "Pet Semetary" by Stephan King. Not many horror books can actually scare me, but this one did it!
As for movies..My favorite horror must be "Orphan" but my favorite movie in general is a tie between "Salt" & "Ninja Assassin".

I just recently watched Ninja Assassin and wow, it was an awesome movie I have to say!
Senior year, huh, well it'll go by fast, believe me. Mine was like a rush of wind ~Vroom.
