Hey guys! Here's what's going on:

You are a Demigod. However, you are unaware of that, thinking that your 'mom and dad' really are your birth parents. You live on a beautiful island

No one knows that you're different, until someone close and important to you is stolen on a night where all the demigods have the same dream and are told to meet in the same place. There, you receive an omen from Hermes, telling you that if you ever wish to see these people again, you must follow a map to meet **someone** and sacrifice your God-like powers. Personality: He is a major flirt, and will manipulate girls to get what he wants. Therefore, he has never had to be in a fight. He is the King of comebacks though, and great actor! He can seem sweet, but that's just his manipulation. He loves being the center of attention. He carries a small mirrior in his pocket.

History: He grew up on the island, with his two adoptive parents, and his adoptive sister. He has always been the center of attention when it comes to girls. Making some guys a little envious. his sister was the only one not to fall head over heals for him, and for that they were best friends. Her being the only girl he could talk to without the awkwardness. She was the one taken from Him.

Appearance: Dark hair, golden eyes, rather thin and model-ish looking. She's got a brunet hair color and is very stylishly dressed.

Personality: Quiet, shy, and very outgoing. Willing to die for her friends, and can tell off enemies like no one's business.

History: Daughter of Artemis. She's perfect at archery, but never kills her hunt. She was raised in her tribe, the Owl Moon tribe, and is very well known. If anyone has problems, they go to her, sometimes journeying from other tribes just to see her.

Appearance: Gelled up brown hair and dark chocolate brown eyes. He has two scars on his left cheek from a fight. He has a lean but muscular build and slight stubble.

Personality: He's, more or less, exactly like his dad. He loves fighting and training to get stronger and better. He's the tries to be the tough guy and never backs down from a good fight. He comes across as cocky and if he doesn't deem you worthy of his time, he won't even acknowledge your presence. He's very reserved and doesn't show many of his emotions, if he's feeling sad or hurt, he will go off into the forests and beat up a tree or something.

History: When he was small, he grew up on the island with his mother. One day, while he was off wrestling with a boar, he came back home to find his mother gone and his house destroyed. To this day, he lives alone in a hut on the bay of the island.

Personality: Smart, touchy, moody, but fun loving and sweet most of the time. She's strong willed and clever.

History: She grew up with her laid back father, rather her laid back father who drinks too much. Sofia took care of herself most of her life, and always stayed out of her father's way ever since he beat her that one time. Once when she was fifteen while he was drunk, he punched her in the eye and kept stabbing her with the wrong end of the kitchen knife. She screamed, a neighbor heard and called the police, then she spent the rest of her years in a group home until she turned 18. She graduated high school and went to college with a full scholarship. Majored in science.

Personality: Marie is very no-nonsense, but she has a motherly side to her as well. She's got a mescheivious side, and is no stranger to sarcasm. She's very confident, but does not work well with others. Marie is perpetually concerned about the safety of others around her. She sees most other people as weak tenderlings compared to her. She will try to do all of the dangerous and stressful tasks herself.

History: Marie had a twin sister (Vera) who was very close to her. Together, they sailed the waters around the island. While Marie stayed stubbornly single, Vera married and had a daughter (Becca). One night, Vera and Marie were sailing deep into the night when a terrible storm struck their ship. Vera was trapped in the sinking ship as Marie scrambled to save her own life. Marie returned to shore, destraught over Vera's death. Vera's husband tore himself apart over Vera's death. He ran off, and Marie has not seen him since. He left Becca with Marie. Marie has taken Becca in for the past two years, and she is like a daughter to Marie.

Personality: Chella has always been... a little different. She's very quiet at times, seemingly shy, until you talk to her first. If you get her going, she'll talk nonstop about whatever she wants. She has a mild obsession with all things that are dead,and tend to creep out everyone she talks to. She's positively ruthless in a fight, and doesn't hide the fact that she likes to watch things die. She really, really dislikes people in general, and never has any true friends. She's never without an alterior motive- and usual, that motive is something to do with death.

History: Chella's "parents" are, quite appropriately, undertakers. For as long as she could remember, Chella saw dead people as often as she saw them alive. She rarely left indoors, and her incredibly pale complexion scared away any friends she might have had. After some time, she grew to love solitude, and found comfort in the presence of bodies. She was really only happy when she was helping to prep them for their funeral. Her parents home schooled her until she was 18, when she took over their practice and bought them a hut across the island. She took to wearing gloves all the time, both because she liked them and because her hands were never completely without traces of blood that she just couldn't wash off.

Up for love?: Possibly, if you can really impress her/are really good with dead bodies...

Personality: Eccentric, and loud. Loves to party and have a good time. Get on her bad side however... and all hell breaks loose. She doesnt care what people think of her, and refuses to change for anyone. Hard worker, confident, impatient, and cocky.

History: Grew up on the island as a partier. She started working at her father's convenience store 'Cartwright's Corner' at the young age of twelve. She got into a few fights during highschool and was on the verge of being expelled. Elysia never got along much with her father, but loved her mother with all her heart. Her mother, Clara, died when she was ten. Her father, Peter, shunned Elysia forcing her to work while her other sister was spoiled and doted upon. Elysia started sneaking out to go to parties when she was fifteen, and has ever since.

Name: Derek

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Son/Daughter of: Hephaestus

Appearance: He has thick, curly black hair that hangs just below his eyebrows and into his eyes. He constantly is brushing it out of his way and it's become such a habit he doesn't really realize he does it anymore. His nose is a little crooked and looks like he's been punched before. And his eyebrows are thick and just as black as his hair. He has dark brown eyes that have little flecks of green in them that you can only see if you look closely. He's got sun bronzed skin from staying outside most of the day and is nearly always covered in sweat or dirt from working. He stands at about 6'4" and has broad shoulder and a very powerful build. He's not fat, not at all, but is very muscular from laborious hard work.

Personality: He's the kind of person that sits back and really looks at something, trying to piece everything together. He doesn't let himself get overrided with emotions. He's calm and he's good at piecing things together. To work as a smith, as he does, you kind of have to be like that. Working with metal and forging any different types of materials is what he lives for. People from many, many different tribes will travel for days to have Derek forge what they need. He's a very unconfident person unless it comes to his craft. Then he sort of finds his comfort zone and you can really get to know him. He's uncomfortable with girls. He's friendly and really just a down to earth guy. He's not shy, just uncomfortable in his own skin when he's not in his father's (not he *real* father's) forge. He's not the kind of guys that stands out in a crowd, but he rather just blends in. He could be attractive, but prefers to just sit back in the shadows. His real love is his work.

History: He is the son of Hephaestus. Which is why he works so well with metal workings. He is also good at piecing things together and understanding how things work. Which makes him good a planning as well. He sits back and really looks at a problem in order to fix it.

He was born to a family of hard-workers. So he's always known how to work and it's really all wants to do. He wants to work hard and he doesn't want to be the kind of person who sits in a chair and orders everyone else around. His father owns a forge and taught Derek everything he knows. However, Derek has already surpassed his father and his dad actually envies him. He tries to correct Derek and tell him he does things wrong. Derek knows how his father feels, however, and listens to him out of respect. Honestly though, he just wants his dad to tell him he's proud of him. Because he doesn't know that his dad isn't his real father. His mother died a long time ago and Derek doesn't know much about her. He just knows that his dad refuses to talk about her. He has no siblings so his dad is his only family and the one he cares about the most.

Derek also had a girlfriend he honestly thought was "the one." Her name was Ashley and when they broke up he went off girls and hasn't dated since. She wants to be friends and he does too, but it's hard for him to see her and not want more. He still loves her and he cares for her as much as his dad.

Up for love? I guess. Get him to open up and stop thinking about Ashley. He's mainly up for friends, however.
