Hello ashleybaby! And you too, Panda. Welcome to YWS!
I'm Firefly and I like to think that I specialize in the areas of fantasy/science fiction (the genres of fiction I focus on the most, anyways). I love reading, my favorite color is blue, my favorite animal is the wolf, and I could go on and on but that's enough about me for now!
I'm not an official greeter or anything, but I thought I'd help out by pointing you both to some helpful links: --I suggest reading the YWS FAQ first, as it should answer most of your basic questions. --Another look at the rules and guidelines can be found here. --Community forums can be found here. --Interested in groups? Check them out here!
Well, that should give you both an idea of the YWS community. Of course, you can always PM me if you have any questions or if you're feeling lost!
Now, time to tell me a bit about yourselves! --Favorite color? --Favorite book? --How about movie?
"Have I ever told you the story about how our kingdom was nearly torn apart by greed and betrayal? No? Well then gather 'round, my children, and let Ol' Nan tell you about the Legends of Arenthul." ~Naneria
Hi there! I'm Pink and since everything that needs to be said, has been said I guess I'll just say welcome! I hope you have fun here (this place is quite addicting) and if you need any help I'm always around the corner. Just drop me a message and I'll review for you or just answer any questions that you might have. Have fun!
~Pink
There are three rules for writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are. -W. Somerset Maugham
Welcome! Is the19 in your name for your age? Cos, if so, you're not thinking about the future...
Hope you enjoy your stay and try not to be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of STUFF on this site. I'm still discovering new avenues everyday.
And listen...you probably don't have much to worry about, but just be smart about the info you put up for millions of people to see. You've got your full name there and, in your profile, you have your workplace, where you live, bla bla bla. Just because your profile asks for your info, doesn't mean you have to answer it seriously.
There's a topic posted somewhere around here about internet safety, but I don't remember where it's located. I'm sure you could find it if you search "Safety" in the search bar up at the top.
Then again, everyone and their mom has a facebook page, which has enough information to steal everybody's identity...but oh well...
