Here's a little piece of what you missed....

My mind told the unfeeling body to move forward, and it did, but I couldn't feel the dewy grass under my feet. I told it to move faster, and I was flying, floating, running, whatever I did, quicker than was humanly possible. In less than three seconds I had exited the funeral area and was quickly moving towards the road. I moved so fast that it seemed the cars next to me were at a stand-still. In almost a minute I was staring at my beautiful blue house. Looking at the life I had lived only a few days earlier, knowing that I never would live it again...

Part Two

It pained me too much to step foot inside what was once my own little castle. Instead, I admired my lost life from the street. I looked in on my room on the second floor. Mom had told me countless times that I should close my blinds when I left the room. She'd said burglars would try and get in the house for what they saw, but now I was glad I didn't obey. I could see so much through that one window.

On my bright blue and green bed I could see my computer open, its battery probably dying. Along side it was the lime green binder I had written my stories in since my first semester of high school. I was going to get them published one day and have the world marvel at what one sixteen year old girl could write. It seemed to be that that day would never come. Clothes were scattered everywhere, covering desks and droors filled with memories of a life long gone. A camera sat on top of my desk with its various lenses spread out around it. It was one of those film kind that went out of style when digital cameras became available. I suddenly remembered that there was film I had wanted so badly to get developed and now it never would be.

This was the part where tears should have been gushing out of my hazel eyes. I should have been at loss of breath because of so much sobbing, but I wasn't because, to my realization, I didn't breath. There was no need for me to inhale or exhale. Whatever body I was trapped in did not need oxygen. This news struck fear into me and it felt like I was in the middle of an earthquake. Everything in me rattled and shook until I had calmed myself. It was strange, that feeling of chaos, but I knew that nothing around me had encountered the same thing. None of the houses had been shaken to pieces. No roads were cracked. It seemed that only I was had been shaking. I started to think that something was wrong. Not that anything at that point was right, but I needed to figure myself out before I caused damage to the living people I encountered.

So I pushed myself north. For hours I just kept going in one direction, all the while trying to figure out what kind of motion caused me to move. Eventually I came to the conclusion that I was flying. Like the little winged shoes, my feet propelled me forward with no real movement on their part. I felt like an angel speeding through the world on my own mission, but I was not an angel. God and Satin, both, must have rejected me and so I was sent back to where I started with no real purpose.

I flew for at least four hours, wandering the mountains neighboring my hometown. I hadn't had the courage to go any further. I would miss my home too much. Somewhere high on the tallest peak I stopped and sat on a ledge overlooking my beautiful town. By now it was getting dark and street lights were flickering on, causing a magical effect on Knowcan.

I sat there letting the sun rise and set, not paying attention to time, but to the beauty of it all. From up on the mountain nothing changed. Deep inside, though, I knew that everything I was watching was not the same as it used to be. An unknown period of time had passed and I could only imagine how life had changed.

"You need to go back."

At first I thought that I had been talking to myself without consciously knowing it, until It occurred to me that the voice speaking wasn't mine. I turned around to find a beautiful little girl standing behind me. A rush of panic hit.

"Don't be scared," she said as I began to leap out of my seat, "I am like you, a soul who has not been accepted into Heaven or Hell quite yet. My name is Jessa and I died a very long time ago."

I settle back onto my ledge with the knowledge that someone else was in the same position.

She spoke again, answering a question I had not yet voiced, " I'm guessing you want to know why we're here. It's different for everyone, I suppose. You read those stories about people dying and not really leaving until their purpose in life is fulfilled? Well, that would be us. I have been informed by the Angel of Fate that each of us "lost souls" has a job to do and a life to change before we leave. My job is to guide other souls to their purpose."

She looked down at her own little feet with a sad expression on her face. For the first time I used my voice, "What is my purpose?" At least my voice still sounded the same.

"You lived a lovely life, but you did not do the things you always wanted to do. Rather, you did not say what you really wanted to say," My puzzlement must have shown through my face because when Jessa continued she asked," Eliza, what was the one thing you were best at?"

"Writing," I replied,"But what does that have to do with anything?"

"The one thing you are passionate about follows you past death. Even though you no longer have a mortal body, you can still pick up a pen and paper and write." I could tell she was trying to convey a message to me and I just wasn't understanding. Jessa sighed in annoyance and rolled her sparkling green eyes.

"I was trying to let you figure this out on your own, but it seems that things just aren't clicking for you."

I nodded in agreement.

"Okay, here's how it works. I know you have things you have always wanted to tell people. Such as telling someone you love them. Because you didn't have the courage to do it in your real life, you have to do it now. Are you following me?" Another nod and she continued," Good. So until you say everything you've ever needed to say, you're staying right here in this world."

"How do that?" I ask dumbly.

"Have you not been listening? You have to write basically write letters to each person telling them whatever it is that you need told." This little girl with tan skin and black ringlet pigtails had more spunk than I had thought.

"Oh." I was starting to understand. "That's simple enough."

"If you think so. But as fare warning, be careful of your emotions."

"My emotions?"

"They are the only things you can feel in this state. You will feel them so intensely that they will feel like physical things happening to you."

"Like an earthquake," I mumble.

"Exactly. These emotions will trick you. You'll think that what is happening to you is also happening to the people around you and so you'll stop fulfilling your purpose."

"I understand."

With that the little girl gave me a quick smile, revealing a missing tooth, and flew away. I stood up on my ledge and pushed myself into the air. After letting myself free-fall for a second I began to fly back to Knowcan and the life I had left behind.
TO BE CONTINUED...

Hi there!

I really liked this; your writing flows nicely and the descriptions are good. You want this to be ripped to pieces, so here goes...

It pained me too much to step foot inside what was once my own little castle.

'step foot' sounds strange - 'set foot' would be better.

Along side it was the lime green binder I had written my stories in since my first semester of high school.

Alongside is one word.

Clothes were scattered everywhere, covering desks and droors filled with memories of a life long gone.

It was one of those film kind that went out of style when digital cameras became available. I suddenly remembered that there was film I had wanted so badly to get developed and now it never would be.

This is awkward to read. It's too factual and is quite stiff. Rephrase it, add some emotion.

I should have been at loss of breath because of so much sobbing, but I wasn't because, to my realization, I didn't breath.

I love how you described the emotion as an earthquake. However, I think you should describe how the MC calmed herself. An earthquake is a pretty big thing - did she think of someone she loved to calm herself, or one of her stories?...

Eventually I came to the conclusion that I was flying. Like the little winged shoes, my feet propelled me forward with no real movement on their part.

I loved this. I can picture it well.

I felt like an angel speeding through the world on my own mission, but I was not an angel.

I don't like that last bit, it seems too abrupt. How does she know she's not an angel?

I turned around to find a beautiful little girl standing behind me.

What makes her beautiful? Expand here.

I settle back onto my ledge

*I settled

The bit in bold doesn't make sense.

That's all for the nitpicks. :)

Overall:

I love certain aspects of this; the reality of emotions, the purpose being what you do best. These things make it a unique and very interesting story.
I think that the meeting with the little girl is a bit rushed, though. Go through it more slowly, because the emotions aren't so well described. You say that the MC was panicked when she first saw this little girl: what did panic feel like? A hurricane? A rope around her throat?
Also, when she finds out her purpose, I think that you could describe how she feels more clearly. Happy to be going back, to have the chance to write these letters?

Your grammar is great, but make sure to make a new line every time someone speaks.

So, an intruiging story you've got here. I'm looking forward to reading part 3.

Hope I helped, and keep writing!

This is so far an amazing story. It has some minor faults, but I'm not going to nit pick right now. In addition, I won't write a full review right now until I've read the third part (which I'm looking forward to). Still, I don't get to read a lot of stories that have captivated me the way this story does.

The emotional content in this story has been described well to the point that the MC can feel it physically. This is an interesting concept. Maybe you should describe the interactions between the girl and the MC in more detail. What were they doing while they were talking? Were they just standing/floating still? Maybe the girl circled around her while she spoke, making Eliza even more confused. It could add an extra edge to the conversation.
