-I like writing tales of evil versus evil .

-I like world building.

-I like Mind Screw.
-I like writing stories about people telling stories and the doing of ordinary guy stuff in alien fantasy worlds.

So, I'm SporkPunk, normal people call me Leslie. But you already knew that.

Anyway, there are some helpful threads that would be a good idea to read. There's the welcome area, and the FAQ. Those are good starting points. After that, just kind of explore. The site seems pretty huge at first. But you'll get used to it. Be click-happy.

TVTropes are addictive. I looove that site. So, do you write prose exclusively? Or do you write poetry too?

(I wrote a haiku about pants today, so I've been thinking about poetry.)

Seriously though, hey, and welcome to YWS! Basically, our big head-honcho is Nate, often associated with monkeys. You'll find out later. Mods and Junior Mods (whose names are green) are the helper dudes- they're all really nice, and great folks. If you need any help, PM a mod or JM, or me. I'm not completely useless, you know!

If you like reading and writing you are in the right place, where millions of users (YWSers) love to do it, too, and wish to improve more and more everyday. I hope you enjoy every little corner in this awesome web page. When you post the things you have written, or the photos you've taken, other people will review it for you to improve. They are supposed to tell you the things they would change, and the things they liked, and they also will correct grammatical errors if any. Oh, and don't forget to review for others to review your work.

If you want to meet some people you can go to the chat. Once you are in chat, you'll see YWS citizens saying something like this "Hi, Rag!" "Hey, Ragnar." "Hellow, Ragz!" "Ello, Nar!". If you use "Chat Speak" they will probably say something about it, (we don't like chat speak), since this is a writing site.
