This writing analyzer informed me that I write like "Stephanie Meyer."

I take much offense to this, and would like to understand what goes into these sort of analyzer-mechanisms, and what makes them determine what piece of literature resembles whom's.

Foreman: Maybe because conversations go both ways.

It said I write like J.R.R. Tolkien. Not sure about that.... It said my sister writes like J.D. SAlinger. Now that sounds better.

I wouldn't worry about it! It's just a generator--it's results aren't going to be 100% accurate. If you look here you'll notice some people got different authors for different parts of the same story. If you want, try putting another story and you'll most likely get a different result. So, yeah! I'm sure you're a great writer. It's just a computer, so don't pay it much mind. :)

Who, may I ask, is Dan Brown? And how do I write like him?
Honey, you should see me in a crown.

I lied. I actually do know who Dan Brown is. I had a little brain fart.

I've even read the Davinci Code!

Yeah, Elinor is right. I got Stephen King for one piece and this guy who's name I couldn't even pronounce for the next chapter. : D It's just a computer generator, real people could tell you better. :smt002
