I need opinions on whether I would look good this way

part of the reason is because I'm tired of all that curly hair

I myself have really curly hair, and I love it. But on guys... curly hair is the BEST!

Since you can't straighten it then I wouldn't suggest shaving it bald either. I doubt you'll get a beard anytime soon either, or at least I know I'm not. Do whatever feels right I guess

I think you should just shave down the very middle of your head, and don't bother with a beard. It's like a reverse mohawk.

My hair is naturally curly. It requires no work because the shape is always there.

I think I'm just going to start slicking my hair back and grow the beard
