I apparently write like Vladimir Nabokov (three times), Dan Brown (once) and Leo Tolstoy (twice). Funny enough, I've never really read Nabokov before, so...

I am the audience that witnesses history.

Hmm interesting, my first chapter suggests I write like Neil Gaimen, while my second suggests Stephen King and my third James Joyce.

I've haven't read either the first or the last and I'm not a fan of Stephen King.

You should be honoured to be told you write like Neil Gaiman. He's great.

Tower Girls got Oscar Wilde mostly. Strange...

I put in 'I like potatoes and cheese. YUM' and apparently I write like James Joyce. Either James Joyce writes like a 5 year old or somethings wrong with this thing.

*ten minutes later*

I apparently write like Agatha Christie. I got her 10 times. xD
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

Margaret Atwood. I see she's won many awards, so I'm taking this as a good thing. :D

I did the first part of a short story I wrote... and got Stephen King.

Then I did the first part of a parody of Edgar Allen Poe... and got H.P Lovecraft. Well. Same genre, at least.
This guy is so evil you could put him in between two slices of bread and call him an evil sandwich.

Coming at you like a jetpack Shakespeare.

O.o
Okay, now I'm scared.
I typed in the first paragraph of my fan-fiction and I got Stephenie Meyer. Though I'm not sure if it's just because I used 'rule of three' in my first sentence...and I procrastinate a lot so it was more like five sentences.

EDIT: Yes. I tried it without that sentence and I got Stephen King. Besides, I suppose the whole thing is supposedly narrated by a ditzy, unstable girl who appears to like dangerous guys. I just hope the rest will be somewhat better than SMeyer's writing.

Apparently I write like a Canadian science-fiction/cyberpunk writer. I got both William Gibson and Cory Doctorow (both Canadian, science-fiction/cyberpunk writers).

So experiment time!
I typed in:
"Hello," he said. "How are you?"

and got Hemingway. So that was pretty legitimate.

Then I pasted a 700-word passage from Nabokov and got......Dan Brown.

I call shenanigans!!
