(Just kidding, of course.)
I am new here, obviously. Old-soul-young-thing-poet-writer-artist-ma-bob am I. On the internet I am usually 'bombshellcat' after my cat, Harlean, who is named after Jean Harlow. My real name rhymes with my cat's: Colleen! It means "girl" in Gaelic, or so I have been told. I have also been told that my name is a word, not a name. You can just call me "girl" if you want, I'll respond just the same.
I like old movies, old books, old clothes and old typewriters.
Came here through some friends from another writing site and thought I would give it a whirl. I write poetry of and on, as I get the bug. I run a "real world" writers group where I write the bulk of my misguided prose (Misguided in that it tends to get pixie-led and turned into something entirely other than the story I started with. It's an affectionate term, not a put down.) and I keep a blog and a diary for any self-centered unpoetic writing I need to get out of my system. Not sure what I will post here, but I am sure critiquing wise I will lurk about the poetry.
Any questions?
