My name is Haley. I'm eighteen and have been writing ever since I could pick up a pen, and I was referred to this site by a good friend of mine. It looks quite exciting so far
Good to meet you all!
you're scared of basic emotions you say that they're fragile just like china cups
A. A YWSer in disguise as a green bucket which in fact is a blue bucket but even more deviously disguised as a red bucket!
WELCOME TO YWS
I'm the first person to post! Everybody dance: !
I'm Apple, your official welcomer! Because I'm first other welcomers, because I am first! This is the magical site of writing where the plains are filled with restless storybookers grazing in the green meadows. Hectic reviewers living it up in the rock built huts of peasents, drawers and photgrapherstravelling around in caravans, the greenies: the nobles of the great castle and Nate and his reddies: the kings and queens of YWS!
If you have any questions just ask me and I'll be happy to help! I don't actually know what I am, but I think I'm a SBer (Story Book Fanatic)! Ooo I have some questions for you!
(1) What is your impression of YWS so far? (2) What is the worst series of books you've ever read? (3) Which book do you hope to become a movie? (4) Can I stalk you? Erhm, ignore this last part...
I hope you find everything well and that you start writing some things. Ooo if you ever want a review, just pm me! Or place it in my WRFF page. Work, work; create those stories! Mush, MUSH!
I don't think I could top Apple's welcome, you certainly got a stellar welcome there!
So what do you like to write? Poetry? Short Stories? Novels? What genre?
You should definitely check out the new YWS pages! Nate (the admin guy) just introduced them and they are quite fabulous. Join a few or even make your own! You can access them from the "Pages" tab at the header, or right HERE!.
I hope you have a fantastic time here! If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask me!
1) It seems very exciting and full of writing ;D I come from a very small forum, though, so I'm having the slightest bit of trouble finding my way around.... 2) Worst series?...hm. I'm going to go with my gut and say those Eragon books 3) Any of my favorites as a kid. I read a lot of fantasy, and I'd be overjoyed to see any of my favorites become movies, actually...good movies, that is. In fact, I wouldn't mind making them myself. 4) ;D
Lauren2010: I write a little of 'all of the above' I just finished the novel(la) that I've been working on for almost three years now, but I also like writing odd, quirky, scary, or weird little short stories and flash fiction, and I'm something of a poetry addict. Hopeless case. Very tragic. As for genre...I love fantasy, always will, but my latest work has been a bit unclassifiable. Mysterious historical suspense tragedy? That sort of works
Leilani: Thank you!!
Rachael: I finally stopped procrastinating! I see you've been quite busy though
