Dottie Kagey | Just outside Aerona Bank | 2:54pm

It took Dottie a minute to notice that Aidan had been shot. She was actually more worried about her bird that had been shot. She looked up at it. That bird fell to the ground and made a large splat.

The yell hurt her ears and she scowled. "Aidan, quit--" her face paled. "Aidan! Fly!"

When he didn't fly and continued to fall she sent three birds to save him. Summoning three new ones would ruin her focus, so she had them drop some of the money so that she could save her brother. Once he was safe she was starting to regret doing that.

"We lost two thousand dollars because someone had to get shot. You better let me read those horrible rock and roll songs when we get back or I'll drop you right here!"

Aidan was glad to be saved. "Whatever Dottie." His words were labored.

"Don't you take that tone of voice with me young man."

"I'm older then you," he replied hastily.

"So?" Dottie crossed her arms. "Maybe I'll change my mind and drop you."

"Okay! Okay! You can read them! Just don't let me die!"
All I can hear; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". Even those tears; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". No one's frightened of playing it. Everyone's saying it. Flowing more freely than wine. All through your life; "I me mine".

You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
