These are just some pictures from my whale watching trip. I just previewed it, and they don't show up as very good quality for some reason, but, whatever.

Those pictures are awesome. Where did you go to do this? I don't like the first picture so much because the whale looks like a big brown blob in the water. I think the other three pictures of the dorsal fin when the whale is moving are are great because it shows the whale and the landscape in the background. Have a great day Fiction.
Hello Sillyduck! These pictures are awesome! The last one is my favorite!
1 Is interesting. It my second favorite!
2 I love how you can see the mountains in the background, they're so pretty!
3 you should of tried getting the mountains in the background too. But, I like how the boat is in the background.
4I just love this one! So pretty!
Charlie Bucket: You can eat the grass? Willy Wonka: Of course you can! Everything in this room is eatable, even *I'm* eatable! But that is called "cannibalism," my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies.

I'm fairly certain that the first is a second species of whale, without the prominant dorsal display of the orcas (in the following photographs).
I like all of these. Compositionally, I'm not enamoured with them of course, but then again whales aren't known to be the most cooperative of creatures. I imagine you are pleased to have gotten photos at all! Looks like you had a great trip!

My favorite are the two in the middle. In terms of photography, I think the focus in those two are best, as the horizons are straight, and I like the way the whale fin is off centered. I do kind of like the last one, but the shore line takes a slope and makes the picture look kind of crooked. Nevertheless, it's a great subject, and you're quite fortunate to have experienced such. Thanks for sharing!
