Redemption
Is in a smile
In a hopeless love
The way that eyes light up
And a laugh escapes behind struggling lips
A hand holding another
A hug between two lovers
A kiss
Soft and sweet
A couch cuddle
And shared pillows
Quiet words
And quiet laughs
A happiness so pure
It becomes a way of living.

Redemption
Is in love
In joy
In the peace we live
We create
We want
Every single day.

Inspired by the phrase "People are not perfect (except when they smile).

This was a really nice poem. I love the message of it, and the fact that you don't over use the title. It's simple but not overly simple and its very different from most of the poems I read. I really enjoyed reading your poem keep writing.

I like this one a lot too. It's simple, to the point and it doesn't try to force the message on the reader. Good job!

Really like this. The poem has a great, upbeat rhythm that comes out in reading it out loud. Uplifting, short and sweet. I like!

Great poem. As others have said: to the point, great topic.

I think you did really well using that one sentence/quote and represented it nicely and fairly. There isn't anything I can that is wrong with it and though the beat is mostly at random, it does seem to possess some sort of rhythm.

Loved this!
