Hi, I'm bluewaterlily and I'll be reviewing your pictures.

1) I like the background, and the colors are nice.

2) I like how you took a picture of a side view mirror; very unique. And the water droplets add a nice touch. However, the subject in the mirror is rather hard to see.

3) I love this photo; it's my favorite. The water's colors are so beautiful. All the colors in the photo are vibrant. You did a great job with this photo.

Overall: This photos were great. I just think the second photo needs a little work; the subject in the side view mirror needs to be a little clearer. Buyt other than that, these photos are very nice and I want to see more. Feel free to P.M. me if you need a review or if you have any questions. Good luck with your photography and writing~bluewaterlily. :D

Wow, I really love your photography! :)

First off, I would like to say I really like the first picture. It's very interesting and I like the colors. That being said, I think that white bar tends to draw away from what I assume would be the focus of the picture (the fire hydrant) because it's just randomly cutting across the right corner of the picture. Other than that, it's a wonderful photograph!!

The second picture is by far my favorite. I rather like the raindrops and I especially like that you are out of focus! It's a super interesting way to compose a photograph, and I really, really like it. It looks like a slightly older picture with the coloring, which makes it even more interesting. Good job!

And wow, this last picture is flawless. It's very interesting and I loove the angle! It's a close second in my opinion!!

Great pictures once again!

Hey there, SD. :)

Photo One-- This is sort of weird, lol. I don't really see the point of this picture, it's nothing someone would hang on their wall, or anything like that. It's a fire hydrant, yes? xD.

Photo Two-- This is a picture that's been done a thousand times before. Yeah, trust me, it has. And we can't even see you because of all the dust-spots on the mirror. This is nothing special.

Photo Three-- Definitely the best out of the bunch. The colors are lovely, such natural beauty. The only thing I don't like is the angle you took it from. I would have taken it facing the waterfall head on, it looks sort of odd with this angle. Still, it's very nice.

Overall:

You did a nice job. Keep practicing every day and you can only get better and better. Don't be afraid to take more than one picture of the same thing, actually DO try and do this; it let's you experiment with angles so later on you aren't sitting around saying, "I wish I'd thought to take it like this..."

Still, nice work.

The first picture looks like the fire hydrant is on a slant, quite weird, but not a bad picture.

The second is a little bit too typical for my taste, but still pretty good.

And the third is my favorite of all. This picture is so beautiful. It looks like the purple and the green are running into each other, and all the other colors fit just right into the picture. Nice job.

Anyway,

The first photo is awesome. I mean, I love how the fire hydrant thingy matched the color of the flowers around it. The only thing that bothered me was the white line going through it at the corner. I don't know. It just bothered me. Other than that, it's an epic picture!

The second one is very neat. I like how the dust spots cover the person in the mirror. It looks cool! Plus, I like how you can faintly see the words, "Objects in mirror may be closer than they appear." I found that hilarious!

The last one is very beautiful. I love how bright the colors are! The angle you took it at is very different, and I admire you for taking it like that. Nicely done!

Overall, these photos were awesome! They were so colorful and well-taken. Keep it up! You have talent!

Hey Ducky!

Wow, these are awesome! What camera (and editing programs?) are you using?

First Picture: Not my favorite, but nice nonetheless. I like the colors and the clarity, but the angle seems a bit unoriginal to me. It's more of a head-on shot. Also, what's that white line in the bottom right? It's distracting, and takes away from the overall appeal of the picture.

Second Picture: Honestly, this is probably my favorite of the three. I usually dislike photos where the camera is seem in the reflection, but in this picture it's done so subtly that it actually adds to the picture. And the fact that it's the water droplets on the mirror that's in focus, and not the camera, really helps. The clarity again in wonderful, and I absolutely love the colors. I have no complaints about this one. Great job!

Third Picture: I do like this one a lot, but the purple hues (especially in the bottom right) are kind of throwing me off. If you were to take this into photoshop or lightroom, you could easily fix this. But otherwise this is wonderful. The angle is pretty unique, and for a moment when I first looked at it, I couldn't immediately tell how high the waterfall was, which made me stop and consider it. This is a good thing, as it drew my attention to this picture. I feel it could be lightened some as well, but that's probably just me being overly picky.

Overall, these were lovely. I enjoyed looking at them and I hope to see more photography from you in the future. You definitely have talent! Great job! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or comments.

Hey there ducky! Happy review day! :D

First - I like this picture, contrast and colour is good. But, the white bar pulls much away from the subject, confusing the focal-point of the image.

Second - This, and the third image is tied from my most favorite. I love the colours and sharpness. I agree that the subject could be a bit more in focus. But yet I love this picture just as it is. The ONLY thing that bothers me is the little bit of the car window in the bottom right of the photograph.

Third - Awesome angle, not something I've seen much of. Again, I LOVE the colour and contrast of the image. Well done!

Like Mizzle stated before, don't be afraid to take several images of the same thing. Try with different angles, lighting, exposure, etc. I once took over a hundred pictures of the same subject! Just to try out every angle I could think of.

Keep on taking pictures! You have a lot of talent!

Hey, I'm Lizzy and I am a photographer. I hope my comments don't come across as too harsh (just trying to help you become a better photographer). I'm a little picky about perfection. OCD as I have been called. ;)

#1) I don't like this one at all. It might have been good if you cut out the long white thing and made the view higher so the fire hydrant looked a bit more normal. The tree is nice but not the focus.

#2) This one would look very intriguing if your reflection wasn't in it.

#3) I absolutely love this one! the angle is perfect, the lighting is perfect, and it is plain out great photography!!!

Thanks for your time!
I hope my comments will help you.

I liked them all a lot, but the quality/reflection in the second one could have been better.

Overall, great job. The third one was absolutely enthralling. I loved it.

Hello, Ducky.

1. I love all the colors in this photo. It fire hydrant in the middle of all those flowers is just beautiful. Everything just fits together and looks so natural. Ah, I really like this.

2. This picture would be better if we could actually see your reflection. Not my favorite, but it's still pretty good.

3. I love all the colors in the water. Did you photo shop this? If so, you did a really good job. This is really nice.

I really like the quality of the camera! Was this a film or digital camera? I absolutely adore the third photo! Although I'd never be able to take it because I'm really afraid of heights! The first pic is cute and I like the colours :) But what's the random pole ? :P And I think the second one's cute too :)

These are very nice! I'm going to review them individually of course, as is my custom, but to be honest they are all well thought-out and interesting.

1) This is my least favorite (actually it looks like we are going on order here, with my favorite being the last one). I think you had a good instinct, but the photo itself looks rushed. I do think it would be better if you had moved closer to your subject, making it larger and more central in addition to removing the distraction of the bar in the bottom right. Because the bar is blown out (most likely because it is not in focus, as I assume you were focusing on the hydrant), it is extremely distracting and really detracts from the overall quality of the picture. Again, I don't think your instincts were lacking, but the execution is a little lackluster.

2) This is okay. The idea behind it is not original at all, and that might be the only real problem I have with this photograph, but it is a big one. The focus is excellent, and one thing that helps you along a little bit is that the composition itself is very good. This is a balance and interesting photo, and it really showcases your artistic eye.

3) My favorite! I'm not entirely sure whether you pressed the shadows intentionally in on the sides, but I love the crisp lighting in the center and the overall sense of the water that we get from this picture. Your photographic technique is exemplary, here, and I don't think I have much to complain about. You might think about going in and toning down the scarlet color on the bottom right corner, but really, it's a matter of taste.

Great work!
