:) Something I spewed out one afternoon and only found again after cleaning my room. Thanks to Nate and Nutty who motivated me to clean, lol! I'm sorry about the bad quality, but it's the best I can do. Sorry for any eye strain.

Any critiques welcome, as always :D

This looks like a good sketch! Did you use a pencil or pen for this? Dosen't matter though because I like it. Pretty cool how you have the little boat sailing around the sea. Makes me imagine someone in a boat going on some interesting adventures! I also like how you filled the page, meaning that there are no open or just plain white spaces and that's what I like to see. Besides the blur, I can still tell what is going on and what you were trying to get at. Good job Durrie!! :D

Very nicely drawn! It reminds me of something from a Dr. Seuss book. I love the whimsical sort of look.
I guess the only thing that makes me a little sad is that the word 'life' looks so squished over there on one side...but maybe it's just me. I like this picture a lot. It also looks like it could make a good T-shirt design. :D

P.S.
This is my first time writing a review, so sorry if it's kind of short :(

It's okay! Practice makes perfect, and you made a good point for me to improve! The 'Life' does look a little squished, which it probably shouldn't be. Thanks! And thank you, Prism!! I love your avatar ;)

Like people already pointed out, life's squished in there. Other than that, I think it just needs a little more work, because it seems like some parts of the picture have more detail than the other parts. Even still, I think it's a pretty good piece...

Hiya Durrs!

Is that charcoal or pencil (dark-graphite types)? Anyway, my comments.

Great idea, and pretty good execution too. Aye, 'Life' look squished. :/ Okay, now split this into three vertical strips, equal width and all.

The right-most is very good. There's a good amount of shading and some good lines drawn.
Center:Ship and the coconut tree are good. The trunk, could do with some stronger strokes. (Oh wait, izzit a coconut tree?) The background of the center portion could do with some work and detailing.
Left: It looks like you became more interested in your piece as you moved left-to-right. This part is very light and almost no shading. Work on this side, hon.

So, you have a good piece here. Just work on it more.
Cheers,
~Lava
